Title: One with a Strong Wick

Isaiah 26:3 Those who have a strong heart
I have several frames with scriptures in my house. Among them, the frame with my favorite Bible verses has these words: "You will keep the steadfast in peace in peace, for he trusts in you." (Isaiah 26:3) Other translations interpret this verse as follows. “Lord, those who trust in you are always of one mind, and give them peace to peace.” (The New Translation) “The Lord gives perfect peace to those who trust in Him and are of one mind. "(Modern Man's Bible) "Those who are of one mind and entrust themselves to You, You protect them with prosperity and peace." (Joint Translation)
In other words, a person with a strong heart means a person with a consistent heart. A person who is not shaken no matter how difficult the environment, a person who is strong, and a person who has integrity and chastity is called a person with a strong heart. Take the case of Peter. His name was at first Simon, or Reed. He was a man whose heart was swayed to and fro when the wind blew, and he was not firm, and he was not consistent. But the Lord changed his name to Peter, the rock. Why? It is none other than to become a consistent person and follow me no matter what trials and tribulations come.
Ladies and gentlemen, the true workers and pillars of the Church are those who continue to worship regardless of whether it is raining or snowing, people who recognize me or not, who are devoted to me, and who continue to serve me regardless of whether I feel good or bad. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 says this. "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. Give thanks in everything." In other words, it is God's will to rejoice, pray, and give thanks all the time whether it rains or snows. It is God's desire for us that a swaying reed turns into a rock.
When I was in high school, my music teacher taught me opera and songs well. Among them, there is a song called 'The Heart of a Woman', the famous tenor aria of the Duke of Mantua, which appears in the second half of Verdi's opera 'Rigoletto' in Italy. "La donna mobile qual piuma al vento, muta d'accento e di pensiero" (a woman's heart is tossed to and fro like a reed). "A woman sways like a feather before the wind, and changes her words and thoughts."
Of course, not all women are swaying reeds and feathers. Former British Prime Minister Thatcher was called the 'Iron Lady'. In short, a man or woman whose heart is shaken here and there is a reed, even a disciple of Jesus, and a woman who does not waver in any difficult environment and lives with faith is a rock.
Gentlemen, no one is foolish to use a reed as a pillar. The column must not move under any circumstances. Even if the typhoon blows, it should not shake Rain or shine, it is a pillar that must endure consistently. Koreans respect Admiral Yi Sun-sin the most. Why do we respect him so much? Of course, he is respected because he led the war to victory by defeating numerous Japanese warships during the Imjin War. But what I really want to respect more than that is that he went to exile after being framed by the traitor Won Gyun, and even if he was relegated to a first class soldier, he continued to love the country and was loyal to the king.
Guys, what is the difference between a prostitute and a wife? A gisaeng is someone who loves you only if you bring money. Even for snacks, I like to keep ordering expensive ones. However, a wife is a person who always loves her even if she does not bring money. So, it is much better to have a wife with a consistent heart whether it rains or snows than a parasitic who moves around like a reed depending on money.
In Chinese, it is Zhao Kang Ji-cheo (糟糠之妻). What does jo gang ji ji mean? It is said that she is the wife of the time when she used sake lees Jo (糟) and rice bran Kang (糠) and served her meals with modest food. In other words, it refers to the original wife (本妻) who lived together through hardship when they were poor. Originally, this word is an ancient idiom of the Emperor Gwangmu in Song Hongjeon (宋弘傳) in the Later Han Book.
King Gwangmu of the late Han Dynasty saw his older sister become a widow and was lonely and thought about her sister's intentions with the intention of having someone worthy to marry again. Then she said that she would marry someone like Song Hong. But Song Heung was a man with a wife. Gwangmuje hid his sister behind a folding screen when Song Hong entered the palace on official business and asked Song Heung secretly.
"As the saying goes, when you get high, you change your friends, and when you get rich, you change your wife. Is that possible?" Then Song Hong replied: “I was told that I should not forget my close friends when I was in poverty, and that my wife who had suffered from eating lees and rice bran would not leave the house.” Gwangmuje turned to the side where his sister was and said, "I think things are wrong" and gave up.
Men, I hope that you do not give up on Jo Kang-ji-cheo with a single heart. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope that you will not abandon the Chogang Branch. Dear saints, please do not forsake Jesus, the bridegroom, with a single heart. Who is a good bride to Jesus? She is a consistent bride. God promises to keep faithful believers with prosperity and peace.
It was at a wedding feast in Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle. The wine just ran out. Jesus made wine from plain water. How did people taste it and praise it? "Everyone makes good wine first, and after they are drunk, they give out low things, but you have kept good wine until now." (John 2:10) . If you come up with a good thing at first and then a bad thing later, you will get insults rather than praise.
Guys, who would people say they like? Who else would you like to buy? In order for Koreans to export and sell goods, there must be consistent honesty. Credit is created when a consistent and honest heart builds up, and once you have credit, you can then sell goods at a high price. In other words, you must have a consistent mind to increase your own value.
I saw this poem. Would you like to take a look? The title is 'Always with an unchanging heart'.
always with a heart
No matter what hardships and trials we face
May I always be able to watch you with that heart...
always with no greed
Just looking at the side view, I'm satisfied with it
Get angry for not looking back
Please don't get me wrong...
Rather than wanting to receive
to give you all you have
Please don't ask for it as an excuse...
With unchanging faith in all seasons
Let me look...
and live a life of faith
Let yourself live...
even if I go back
Let the tears of envy and envy flow...
Everyone, like the author of this poem, I pray that you will continue to rely on the Lord with steadfast heart no matter what hardships and trials you face. And I pray in the name of the Lord that the complete peace and prosperity that the Lord gives to all of you who depend on the Lord in such a constant way may be with you in this foreign land.
