Title: Only Jesus. Text: Romans 3:19-31
1. It is only through faith in Jesus that righteousness comes without discrimination.
Romans 3:22 The Lord grants righteousness to everyone without discrimination through faith in Christ. God is the one who gives salvation to anyone without discrimination in providing salvation to all who believe in Jesus Christ. For example, what kind of person is Matthew, the disciple of Jesus? He was a tax official. Neighbors said he was a scammer. But to Jesus, it didn't matter. It didn't matter that Matthew used the money of his people to build luxurious houses. The important thing was to save Matthew. Zacchaeus was far from being a great man. He was small. Like Matthew, Zacchaeus was a publican. He was the one who pointed out that his neighbors were thieves. He was a person who sharpened his teeth as his neighbors were traitors to the nation. But to Jesus, it didn't matter. The important thing was to save Zacchaeus. In this way, the Lord grants salvation without discrimination to those who seek Him. So even a sinner like me was saved.
2. You are redeemed only through Jesus.
3. It is only because we are justified through Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:24 The kingdom of heaven is not where sinners go. Heaven is the country where the righteous without sin go. There is only one qualification to enter heaven. You must be righteous. If we want to travel to another country, we must obtain a visa from that country to enter that country. The visa to enter the kingdom of heaven must be justified through faith. If you are not righteous, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Romans 4:25 When we accept that Jesus Christ died and rose for me, we become one in Jesus, and his works become ours. I pay the full price for my sins through Jesus Christ. Because the Lord paid the full price for our sins, we are now justified as righteous, not sinners. Romans 8:1-2 When we become Christians, the Lord comes into us, and in my heart, only the Lord is Lord.
