Title: Only Jesus

Text: John 1:12-14
The ten commandments that God gave to the people of Israel are called “the ten commandments of Moses.” To summarize the commandments 1 to 4 out of the 10 commandments, it is to “serve only God one” The nation of Israel was formed through a man named Abraham, who served only God.
Originally, Abraham's hometown, Ur of the Chaldeans, was a huge city that worshiped four gods idols. Here, matter was god, and culture and civilization were extremely developed. Abraham, the shepherd who took care of sheep and cattle on the outskirts, abandoned the many gods of that city and left only God! Served only one person. Even his father Terah worshiped idols, but Abraham only served God. So how lovely must it be in the sight of God? So God chose Abraham and created a nation, which is the nation of Israel. And he exalted Abraham to become the father of faith and the father of blessing, and Jesus Christ, the savior of mankind, was also born as the Holy Spirit from the genealogy of Abraham.
Jesus Christ, who came to this earth through the Holy Spirit, is the Son of God, our substitute and savior. Acts 2:12 says, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” This means that Jesus is the only savior. Jesus also said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.”
Only Jesus is the way of life, the word of truth, and the Savior who gives eternal life. There is no other savior. To summarize the above, “Jesus alone”. Jesus is the only way to heaven, the true truth, the giver of life and more abundantly, the one who destroys the devil, saves us, our friend, our Lord, and eternal spiritual love. .
Today is the 22nd anniversary of the founding of Mokyang Church.
While preparing and praying before planting, I decided to name the church “Shepherd Church.”
Why Mokyang Church? Shepherding is the connotation of “Jesus is our Good Shepherd, and we are the sheep that Jesus cares for.” It is good in the sight of God, good to call, good to listen to, and good to remember. Until our Lord comes, I hope that the Lord of the Shepherd Church will be Jesus, and that the head will be Jesus.
The motto of the church is “a church full of grace and truth”.
As John 1:14 says in today's text, "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." The Shepherd Church to which we belong is “Jesus-centered” in both its name and motto.
As the apostle Paul confessed, “If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s” (Romans 14:8). The saints of our shepherd live for Jesus. I pray that you will die for Jesus and be with Jesus forever in heaven.
After the worship service, there will be a headstone unveiling ceremony, and the words “Only Jesus” are written here as well. It was decided so that unbelievers passing by could see it too, but when you do it, you can see that the name of the church, the church's motto, and the headstone are consistent.
Dear members of Shepherd Church,
All we need is Jesus. Our shepherding church is a church where Jesus is my master and there are saints living for Jesus, and a church where God is glorified and pleased. I hope that our Shepherd Church will achieve greater revival and growth as the years go by, and I pray that God will add greater grace and blessings to all of the members. Hallelujah!! Amen.
