Genesis is like a bed in which all the seeds of truth are sown. In the metaphor of the creation of the heavens and the earth, Christ, who is the truth, is hidden. The light is Christ the light of the world, and the word of creation is Christ the Word. It is Christ who is the life that God breathed into man; the vine and the barley bread are Christ the bread of life; , Adam is the true man Christ.., Christ is a personal universe possessing all things in fullness, and indeed is superior to all things (Colossians 1:15-20).
1. The truth that does not change even in the age of pluralism
When Noah, who was walking with God, appeared, a new new word that the world did not know began. New words began through Noah’s life: Jehovah, rest, grace, righteous, perfection, companionship, obedience, salvation, burnt offering, covenant, ark, life, rainbow, fruitfulness, abundance, fullness, and blessing. (Gen. 6:8)
We live in an age of pluralism. Confused by relative good and evil and logic, the absolute truth denies the truth that only God is the only Creator, Jesus is the only Savior, and only the Holy Spirit applies salvation. As Daniel prophesied, we are living in an age where we need to leave our hometown and homeland to live better, rather than in an age where we think we will die if we leave our hometown as we become a global village where knowledge and information abound and people come and go. Good and evil and the tree of knowledge have made absolute truth an option for pluralism. The waters of Noah's day were the waters of judgment and the waters of death. The only way to survive that death was the ark. But people do not care only about the life of the ark, what do they eat or drink for their lives? would you wear I lived with anxiety. People could not distinguish between the two ways of life, life and life.
Even in the world of sin, God always prepares a refuge. Like the city of refuge, he prepared the wilderness and the land of Canaan after the Exodus. He prepared a refuge for Babylon when Jerusalem was destroyed. He sent a savior, Jesus Christ, on behalf of sinners. When this earth is burned down, he prepares a new heaven and a new earth, and when our tent house is destroyed, he leads us to the eternal tent house in heaven.
God briefs people of faith and prepares them for what he will do in the future. There was no other option other than the ark to live in the flood judgment. Noah believed this truth and prepared the ark according to his faith, and only Noah and those who were with him in the ark came to life.(23)
2. Scientific Evidence of the Ark and the Flood
The ark that Noah built was about 14,000 tons and was four or five stories high. (Genesis 6:16) In the book Morris wrote, there were 3,500 species of mammals, 8,600 species of birds, and 5,500 species of reptiles and amphibians. Altogether, it is said that there are 17,600 species. If you count these animals on average, they are about the size of a sheep, and the ark can accommodate about 125,280 sheep, and it is said that it was able to accommodate more than three times the actual number. Animals were able to endure 40 days in the ark, it is said that when darkness comes, they instinctively stop their activities and hibernate. And, there was water in the firmament above the sky with enough water to submerge the earth, and when a volcano called the Fountains of the Deep exploded, the windows of the sky were opened due to the volcanic ash, and the water in the sky fell to the ground and became a flood. We should be interested in how the world was saved from the flood, not how it was judged. Only the ark, only believing and receiving the name of Jesus Christ is the way of life.
