Only the righteous... .(Hab 1:12~2:4)
Let's review Habakkuk.
Last week we learned what the wicked are. The definition of the wicked is one who trusts in himself. In other words, thinking for yourself, judging for yourself, and deciding for yourself. When a self-centered code of conduct is established, one goes according to one's advantage, and everything is self-centered, divisions and quarrels arise.
Habakkuk's first question was about the fall of the nation and he prayed with tears. (Verses 1-4)
Dear saints,
If you have any problems, please do not seek my knowledge, my people, or anything like this, but first get down on your knees and pray to God. If you do not understand or do not understand, please tell God your heart as it is. It will change from the faith of resentment to the faith of waiting, the faith of waiting, the faith of understanding and giving thanks to God.
Today is Habakkuk's second question.
God said that He would pick up the wicked Chaldeans and strike them down in order to punish Israel. Habakkuk prayed while feeling sorry for the sins of Israel, but instead of healing the nation, Habakkuk said that he would lift up the most cruel and vicious Chaldeans of all mankind.
(12) And the prophet said, O LORD my God, my Holy One, have you not been like this from all ages? We shall not bring death; O LORD, you have placed him for judgment. I am old
Here, we can see the inside of Habakkuk. The Chaldeans are a nation created by God for judgment.
What do you mean by setting him up to guard him?
It means that Israel was established to purify without being more corrupt or vigilant.
It is the same principle that the North Korean nuclear issue always appears when the situation in South Korea is difficult.
In other words, the wicked are the Chaldeans and the righteous are Israel. This is called nationalism.
Is Korea the country of the righteous and Japan the country of the wicked?
Habakkuk misunderstood God as the God of Israel alone while living in my country and my people.
Even when God says he wants Israel to be occupied, he insists that he is not.
We will not come to death. Habakkuk has reason to cry so confidently.
It is because we believe and remember the words of the covenant God made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That's right. Please believe that there is no such thing as destruction for God's people. Only suffering and suffering will follow until you stand right with the Lord.
(13) You have pure eyes, and you cannot see with evil, and you cannot see with rebellion. Why do you care about the deceivers, and the wicked swallow up those who are more righteous than them, yet remain silent?
Deceivers? Unbelievers, those who do not believe in God, those who are liars
Habakkuk continues to misunderstand that Israel is the land of the righteous. God loves Japan, loves my enemies, and loves your enemies. That is why there are no enemies except Satan and the devil.
(14) Why do you make man like a fish of the sea, like an insect without a ruler?
It is to scavenge them like there are no fish in the sea. It is expressed as a field of mugwort like the appearance of disorderly insects.
(15) And he caught them all by fishing, and caught them in nets, and gathered them in hope, and rejoiced and rejoiced over them.
It is a folding method.
They catch them one by one by fishing, and then pull them up with a net. The first net is to put a net between the boat and raise it at the same time to catch all the pyramids.
(16) They sacrifice in the nets, and burn incense before the first net, because it brings abundance and abundance of food.
They bow down to the tools they can afford to eat.
That's an idol. What is most precious to you? If God is not given priority, even children or even sons are idols.
In today's Bible, the idol of the wicked is the first hope. Because I can catch all the fish with a huge net and take it as mine.
But our weapon is the Word of God. I pray that you and I will release dying fish into the living water of Jesus because of the word of the Lord and the love you have given.
Even Peter, a disciple of Jesus, caught a live fish for himself before he knew Jesus, but after knowing Jesus, he became a fisher of people, not fish. Instead of fishing for me, I became the apostle Peter, who rescued dying people from the polluted waters of the world and released them into rivers of eternal living water.
(2:1) I will stand at the watch and stand in the tower, waiting and watching what he will say to me, and seeing how he will answer my questions.
The appearance of the image of Habakkuk in chapters 1 and 2 has changed.
According to chapter 1 verse 2, how long? He showed impatient faith while saying that, but he has matured from hasty faith to faith looking at waiting.
Faith is waiting patiently and expecting what God will do.
When I look at the time when God works, it is when I stopped what I was doing.
From verse 2 onward, God is answering the question.
(2) The LORD answered and said to me, Write this vision and write it plainly on tablets, so that you can read it as you run.
Be able to read while running a urgency, always, recitation.
(3) This vision has an appointed time, and its end will come quickly, and it will not be false; though it delays, wait; it will not delay, it will surely come.
The words to write and engrave on plates are not meant to be heard only by people of this age. When a language is documented, it transcends time and space.
(4) Behold, his heart is proud, and it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.
Ah, the New Testament books of Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews come out in one verse.
(Romans 1:17) In the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, from faith to faith, as it is written, The righteous will live by faith.
Who is the righteous in Romans? talk about.
It means that the true righteous are those who live by faith.
(Galatians 3:11) And it is clear that no one can be justified before God by the law, for it was said that the righteous shall live by faith.
He released the Holy Spirit by emphasizing his faith tremendously.
(Hebrews 10:38) But my righteous one will live by faith; and if he goes back, my heart has no pleasure in him.
The entire book of Hebrews focuses on life.
I hope you all listen carefully. None of this is wrong and there is no problem, but what God wants to say is that the appearance and content of faith and life are the same as those of the righteous, and this must be unified in Jesus.
(Matthew 7:21) Not everyone who says to me, lord or lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only those who do the will of my Father who is in heaven.
When faith and works are separated, it is a fake.
Do you have works but no faith? Of course it's fake.
The zeal of the heretics deserves applause in some ways. There are many people who are so upright that we who believe are embarrassed.
But I don't say they are Christians. It cannot be said that they are a saved people.
Those who have faith but have no works? Please remember Matthew 7:21.
Anyone who says, ?쏬ord, Lord,??does not enter the kingdom of heaven any more.
I believe in my heart, but to come to church, to read the Bible, to pray. Are you tired, sick, having other things, and getting sleepy?
You must first repent of what you think is more important than the church.
Faith with works!! Faith with life!! To gain that faith, you must read the Word and pray.
That is the only way, truth, and life for you to live on this earth.
I will conclude
While praying and talking to God, Habakkuk changed from a faith of complaining to a faith of patience and waiting.
What God wants is for you to change yourself before your health and prosperity.
First of all, I want you to put down everything in me. Leave everything to God and look forward to what the Lord will do with a holiness. It will surely bless you.
The righteous live by faith.
Your life is a life for me. I pray that you will become a life for God, a life of faith, and a worker who takes on the role of light and salt in this difficult and difficult Japanese land.
