Title: Only Those Who Wait for the Lord
It seems that there are too many people around us today who are living in a cramped life where they cannot see how they should live.
It's not just one or two things to worry about.
There are people who worry about all kinds of things in the world.
I worry about at least one thing a day. And when the next day comes, the worries I had yesterday, the worries that arise today, and the worries of the future the day after tomorrow... … Wow, what are you really worried about... …
I've actually seen such a person. However, statistics show that 40% of our worries will never happen, 30% have already happened, 22% are trivial and 4% are beyond our control. So, 96% of all worries are useless, and only 4% are real events we will deal with.
How worried are you?
In today's text, we see that concerns at the national level rather than individual concerns are being highlighted.
it will be (That's right, verse 27 of the text is a verse that describes the despair and worry at the national level.
In verse 27, the prophet Isaiah said that while the people of Judah were in captivity in Babylon,
He prophesied that he would be in great pain and sorrow, and that he would appeal to Jehovah for his situation. They will plead that God is unconcerned and indifferent to their suffering, but Isaiah points out that their complaint is not justified.
Why are these people's complaints unworthy? This can be attributed to the following two reasons.
First, because their complaints are not justified,
Because their calamity is the result of their own idolatry. (verses 18-20)
So they have no right to complain.
Is there no one among you who worships idols? / I hope there is no such person.
There are many idols today, but there are also powerful idols in modern times that shake and test us. Thinking of my children before God, putting my hobbies before God, and putting money before God all become my idols.
To love more than God, that is my idol.
The second reason why these people's complaints are not justified is that the LORD remembers and rules over all the creatures he has created, and he has made a covenant with him and has done many salvations before. It is impossible to ignore one's special people.
Therefore, it was not that the Lord was ignorant of the circumstances of his people, and it was not
This prophecy was given because they had to receive the punishment worthy of their sins at this time.
That is why the Israelites will now be taken into Babylonian captivity, and painful slavery awaits them.
However, the prophet Isaiah declares that this prophecy is not only to be frustrated, discouraged, and worried.
Isaiah 1 - 39 prophesied that God's righteous judgment would undoubtedly fall upon the surrounding nations who sinned, including Judah.
Chapter 40, including today's text, begins with the restoration
You can see the comfort of God in which the bright content of hope that comes from God is recorded. This comfort is not only temporary, but focuses on the coming of the coming Messiah.
So, after prophesying the judgment of Judah, the prophet Isaiah adds: “But those who wait in the Lord will find new strength.”
Isaiah does not forget to give hope of salvation and restoration while rebuking the people for their sins. The only way for God's people to be saved is to look to the Lord, believe in His promises, and trust in His mercy.
Indeed, we are living in a generation in which hope is more difficult than despair. So, Satan tempts us to give up, giving us a thorough taste of despair and frustration. Encourage them to sit down and explode.

The enemy in our hearts tells us we have no power, but God says it is not.
Who would you believe? Satan says we cannot succeed, but God says we can do anything through Christ. Satan says you will never get out of your dark reality now, but God is leading you into a bright light. Satan whispers to us to give up our disease as an incurable disease. But God promises to restore our health.
The enemy devil says that the problem in front of you is too big and there is no hope, but God says that he will solve the problem.
“But those who wait for the LORD will find new strength, and they will soar up on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary, they will walk and not get tired.”
Will you continue to give in Satan's heart? Will you have the heart that God gives you?
Don't forget that God has planted good seeds in you.
The better the doctor, the better the scientist
Acknowledging that there is more we do not know than we know, we are in awe of our Creator. Therefore, it is foolish to ask for a scientific interpretation of the Bible by non-scientists.
In verse 28, verse 29, the words of the will of God the Almighty Creator to help and guide us.

Our mind is like a transmission (gear). When you put in reverse gear, it retracts backwards, and when you put forward gear, it runs forward.
Only those who wait for the Lord will never fall, no matter what trials or tribulations come.
What does today's Bible text teach us about those who wait for the Lord?
It tells you that there are some benefits.
But, those who wait for the Lord never get tired.
Anyone, no matter how young, will feel tired if they overdo it.
However, fatigue here, rather than physical fatigue, has an internal cause.
Tiredness here refers to “those who do not possess the joy of the soul.”
It refers to a state of being weary, weary, and weary from life.
It is a tired state in which there is no joy in serving God, and no joy in the path of life. And, they are so-called “those who fell into cynicism”.
It is plausible to say that the phenomenon that young people these days feel that everything they say is annoying and boring, and they lose interest in everything and everything is annoying. If you fall into this cynicism, you will eventually become a slave to a sense of helplessness, making you and those around you anxious. So, it refers to “the one who sits down” in despair. Those who fell into temptation and were frustrated, those who gave up without achieving their intended purpose, those who meditate on death without finding any more hope in life. In a word, they are 'life without a future, literally tiring.'
Second, only those who wait on the Lord will find new strength.
There are benefits to being refreshed.
However, Almighty God has promised to give new strength to those who only wait for the Lord, and the new strength that will come to those who wait for Him will be like an eagle's wings flying up. You said.
This means that in the midst of any tribulation and adversity, you will never get frustrated or despair, but will be refreshed and rise again.
It is said that in the power of divine grace, the world will be kicked up and ascended, and thus will ascend to the eternal heaven, the most holy place.
You will run and you will not get weary, you will walk without getting tired.
This does not mean, however, that no physical exhaustion comes upon God's people.
Nor does it mean that any fatigue that wears us out will be easily restored by the power of God.
Rather, it is a promise of perseverance to endure and overcome until the end. No matter how difficult and difficult the task is, the drive to carry on without fear or hesitation, the perseverance to never get discouraged or despair in the face of obstacles and hindrances, or countless difficulties that make it impossible to achieve the goal,
that these abilities are given.
The ability to walk the path given to you with joy and confidence like Noah, who built the ark for 120 years, believing in God's promises despite all the world's ridicule and slander, is the new strength that Jehovah grants.
so in the end
It means becoming 'one who the world is not worthy of' (Hebrews 11:38).
Now that we are no longer subject to the judgment of wrath by Jesus Christ, we can now hold this message of hope from Isaiah in our hearts.
We must meditate on the redeeming grace of Christ and move forward.
Ask the Comforter Holy Spirit to help us in our weakness.
Romans 8:18 I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed in us. Although there may be hardships for God's children, there is no setback.
But those who wait for the LORD will find new strength, and they will soar on wings of an eagle, they will run and not get weary, they will walk and not get weary.
