Title: Origin of Sin

Contents

Nowadays, it is often seen that there are lectures and events where folklore such as Namsadang Nori is performed and learned under the name of inheriting and developing traditional culture. It is not meaningless, but when we look at these things spiritually, our members should be aware that they are deceitful deceptions of the cunning Satan. This is because Satan is trying to steal people's hearts through the channel of culture with clever deception. Another good example is the Red Devil, who cheered up the atmosphere during the World Cup. We need to know that this is also one of Satan's lies through 'beautification of the devil'.

At the time of Jesus, there was a young man possessed by an army demon in Gerasa. The young man was living in the midst of the tomb, not eating or sleeping, without eating or sleeping. He was bound by chains, but he had the power to break the chains and cried all night long. The Lord made that year perfect by casting out Satan. In this way, we can see that Satan is a personal existence that exists and is an evil person who is still active in the midst of the earth and steals human hearts.

Therefore, through today's text, we must clearly know the identity of Satan and equip ourselves with correct spiritual knowledge to live a victorious life.

1. You must know that Satan is a fallen angel.

(1) “The serpent bit the woman, saying, ‘Truly God, you must not eat from any tree in the garden.

Did you die?"

It is well known from the fact that Adam named the animals that God gave human beings the ability to speak when he created animals and humans, but what the serpent said is that the serpent speaks itself. Rather, we can see that a spiritual being with a personality is intervening behind the serpent. This is Satan, the evil man who disobeys God and is cast out of this world and tempts people to fall.

Satan was originally created by God as angels, but he has fallen and disobeyed God, so he will be judged by God and will be condemned to eternal hell. That is why they are still working today to steal the souls of people with character and lead them to the path of destruction so that even one more person may face the same fate as them.

But Satan is only an instrument of God. Although Satan is working with powerful power and wisdom to tempt unbelievers, he is just a paper tiger to those who love and obey God.

Therefore, we who believe in God should not fear Satan, but live a life of loving God and fearing and obeying God's Word.

2. You must know Satan's strategy well.

First, Satan tempts people by making them doubt the Word of God. This is because Satan is tempting Eve by making her doubt God's word by saying, "Did God really say that you must not eat from any tree in the garden?" If we fall into this gimmick of doubt, our hearts will lose the love of God that they believed and obeyed so much, and they listen to Satan and fall into the illusion that Satan is for us more than God, eventually betraying God and following Satan's words. will be This can be clearly seen through Eve's response to Satan's words (:3), "From the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden, according to the word of God, you must neither eat nor touch, lest you die.

Satan also corrupts the human heart by instigating pride.

(:5) “In the day that you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.

You know it.” He secretly creates a rift between God and humans, and is trying to tempt the human heart that if he obeys his words, he can become like God. So, even now, many people in the world who do not believe in Jesus Christ are They are living in pride as if they were God, not knowing that they were weak creatures of God and that they were fallen sinners.

The reason God told Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was not because the fruit itself had the power to give wisdom. He says that loving and obeying God is good and life, and disobeying God without loving God is evil, and the result is pain and death. We must know that it was because of the love of God who wanted it.

Satan also tempts us with the lusts of this world. Eve, who was overcome by Satan's temptation, saw the tree of knowledge that God had told her not to eat, and she and Adam ate the fruit because it was 'good for food, pleasing to the eye, and desirable enough to make one wise'. In this way, Satan, the god of this world, is luring the material, honor, and pleasure of this world as bait, leading the human heart to the path of corruption and destruction. Here we can learn spiritual wisdom not to fall for Satan's tricks.

First of all, we must know our weaknesses well and defend those areas with God's word and grace, and we can see that it is important not only to put God's words ahead of human words, but also to guard our hearts. Because Satan did not tempt Adam, who had heard God's command not to eat the forbidden fruit, but he approached Eve without tempting him, that Adam listened to his wife, and that Satan put the idea of selling Jesus into Judas Iscariot's heart. It is because you can realize Satan's clever tactics through it.

3. It is to love Jesus Christ, who has given us victory over the power of Satan.

( :7) "Then their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made their skirts.

it was"

The result of man's disobedience to God's word was not knowing good and evil and becoming like God, but lost God's love and the relationship between God and man's mutual love and trust was broken, and he fell into slavery to shame and condemnation. . And in the end, they became slaves to sin, Satan, and death. Just as a fig leaf withers and fades away not long after the sun rises, the shame and wretched fate caused by human sin can never be resolved by human effort. Only God can cover the shame of our sins and give us the death penalty. He is saying that it is possible only when He restores the life we lost by conquering the authority.

Although he was a wealthy tax collector with a lot of wealth, he was treated like a tyrant and a sinner by his fellow Israelites, and he was always living a life without peace and happiness. One day, as Jesus was passing by, he called Matthew, forgave him freely, and called him as his disciple. After receiving the grace of the Lord, the tax collector Matthew immediately welcomed the Lord into his home, held a feast, and shared the joy of receiving the forgiveness of sins from the Lord with the Lord, his colleagues, and his neighbors. During the feast, Matthew confessed to the Lord:

“Lord! If I extorted anyone, I will repay him four times as much.

I will give half to the poor."

Saints!

The Lord freely forgave our sins, sinners like the tax collector Matthew, and restored to us the life and blessings of the Garden of Eden lost through our disobedience with His love that He even died on the cross.

Therefore, believers who have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ will no longer live a life of slavery to Satan and sin, and live a blessed life of loving and obeying the Lord, seeking the lost self, and serving the neighbor who was lost due to my sins with the love the Lord gave. is going to be As we all live this blessed life, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will please the Lord every day and become evangelists of happiness who spread the happiness of salvation to our neighbors.
