Title: Our Priorities for 2010
Contents
Matthew 6:19-34
Many people ask, “What is your hope for this year in 2010?” Most of the questions answered about the health of the family. And the economy is getting better and it's comfortable. Getting a good job was also about getting what you wanted. These wishes were mostly money-related. Money is also a material that dominates the thoughts of modern people. So, what does God think about money? Also, how should Christians spend their money and what should they pursue? you are speaking
Ⅰ. To those who accumulate money and are obsessed with money greed
We must have a lot of money. And you have to build up a lot. For what? It must be used for the sake of the kingdom of God. Soon, open your hands in the name of the Lord. Open your hands to your neighbors, to save one life, and to the church. That is God's promise and method that will be stored up and enjoyed forever. The more we pursue and cling to the things of the world, the more our greed for money grows and the more we become vain.
Ⅱ.For those who pursue money because they do not have enough money to meet even the basic necessities of life
There is a worldly concern that arises when we take God as our master rather than pursuing the world and material things. The Lord tells us not to worry about the basic needs of life, but the reality is that we are concerned. But will not God, who gave us life and body, provide us with less precious food, clothing, and the necessities of life? You are making a promise. I can't extend my life even by one day just because I care about my life. Also, just because I'm worried about my height, I can't make the Chinese characters bigger. That's not an area I should be concerned about. This is an area that God will be responsible for. It is God's responsibility for the birds in the air to get food and for the lilies that bloom in the field to dress in beautiful colors, not the birds and the lilies. How much more will God not think of the things you deserve? you are speaking He said that people who live worrying about such things do only Gentiles who do not know God. The Lord doesn't want us to live just to make a living.
