The bush was on fire, but it was not extinguished and continued to burn in the same state, making it a special event that caught the attention of Moses, who was tending sheep nearby. Moses is now 80 years old. At that age, she is tending her father-in-law's sheep, not her own. I've been living like that for over 40 years.
The sight of a bush being set on fire to Moses, who sat looking at the sheep without hesitation, saying, “I am living like this,” became a very big event. It wasn't when I was watching the burning in the field, but when Moses drew near to the incident, God saw Moses in the fire. As I got closer, I heard a voice calling my name in the midst of the incident, and the incident I thought had nothing to do with me became mine.
How many times have you had a moment like this in your life?
No, not the big scene of a fight next door or the building in front of me caught on fire, but something that caught my attention and made my steps move so that when I went there, it was God’s event.
Meditate on the Bible. Explore the world.
You will surely see the amazing works that God is doing. Don't say no. God still lives and rules the world.
A lot will happen this year as well.
I hope you don't bow your head and say, "This is how I live and go" because I'm busy with my purchases. Wherever God raises up for me, please raise your head up and look around the world and live your life diligently. And please come close to it and when God calls me, answer like Moses, "Here I am."
After answering Moses, God tells him that the place where he is standing now is holy ground.
What will happen in that holy place where God is present? You will have to take it off first. Where God dwells, there can be no uncleanness, no sin, no envy, no hatred, no greed in a holy place. That is, where there is freedom.
Next, God said to Moses, "I am the God of your fathers. I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob." We are proud of our history and tradition. It is not a strange God, a God who suddenly came out like the head of a new religion. Familiar things, familiar people, and old affections make us comfortable. Therefore, the God I am so familiar with gives me peace. A peaceful person will establish a relationship of peace no matter who he meets or what he encounters. That is, it is a place of peace.
The beautiful land that God will lead is described as “a land flowing with milk and honey.” I believe that the land is the land of joy. In other words, the holy land where God is present is a land of wide green meadows and picturesque flowers blooming on it. It is a place full of joy. There will be a plethora of spiritual as well as physical joy.
God has freed all the members of our beloved Gangnam Church this year from everything and has given us peace with a friendly and gentle touch, so that we can have a relationship of peace with everyone and lead us to a land where joy flows like milk and dreams. I earnestly pray that you will.
