<The ghosts exist>
Some people do not believe that there is a spiritual world as unscientific. But there are many things in the world that transcend science. Not long ago, light traveling at 300,000 kilometers per second was thought to be the fastest in the world, but some neutron waves have a speed of over 300 million light-years per second. That means it is about a trillion times faster than light. Considering such facts, human knowledge is extremely dwarfed, and what human science knows is only a fraction of the whole world.
Without acknowledging the history of demons, we cannot explain the strong influence of evil on human society. Hitler had a strong mind and brutally slaughtered millions of people. However, according to his own confession, he acted after the quiet whispers in his ear all his life. Even now, there are quite a few people around us who hear these sounds. They are also evidence of the existence of demons, but above all, the Bible testifies about the existence of demons.
Denying the existence of ghosts is the most dangerous thing ghosts want. When threatened, ostriches bury their heads in the sand. He thinks it's safe if he doesn't see it, but that kind of action makes him even more dangerous. Such laborious denial of the existence of ghosts exposes the soul to greater danger. Our wrestling is not with a problem or with someone, but with a demon (verse 12). In virtually every fight, the real culprit is the ghost.
Like a moth that rushes at you when you see a fire, when you feel the heat of anger, bitterness, and complaint, even a little bit of heat from people, the ghosts will rush in and cause problems and fights. Sometimes relationships get weird, and I think, “Why is that person suddenly like that?” It is often the plunder of the evil spirit behind him, so don't hate him too much. As you know, he is also a victim. So pray for him more, love him and bless him. He does not hate the horses of his enemies on the battlefield. The target to fight is not a horse, but an enemy on horseback.
< Overcome your ‘self’ >
The person you should not hate is not only 'others' but also 'self'. Love yourself and bless yourself. Sometimes you say, “Someone is possessed by a ghost!” But in reality, it is only a difference in degree, but in a broader sense, how often do you live in the grip of a grudge ghost, jealousy ghost, disappointment ghost, wounded ghost, or success ghost? It could be that we ourselves are the madman possessed by the military ghosts that cannot leave the graves of Gerasa. If we do not leave the tomb of 'self', so can we.
Do not continue to raise ‘the me of the flesh, the me of the past, the me who was wounded’ Let go of the ‘wrong me in yourself’ and find the ‘me in God’. It's not easy. It is difficult to let go of real ghosts, but it is also difficult to let go of the wounds of ‘self’, the ghosts of desire and selfishness. To the Gerasa demon, the Lord said, “Demon! Come out!” and the demon said, “Let me even go inside a pig!” (Luke 8:32). As such, ghosts hate losing their base the most. So it is not easy for demons to go out and people to change.
Life is like a tug of war. The body tries to return to its old form, and the Holy Spirit prevents us from returning to the old days. The biggest problem is that I miss my old self and want to live like the old days. Knowing such human instincts and weaknesses, the most recent weapon used by ghosts to knock down the soul is 'Temptation'. Ghosts often come to my heart and whisper. “What would it be? Let’s live happily ever after.” Don't fall for that temptation. Overcome your self. What the devil gives is nothing for free. In the future, you will inevitably pay a high price.
