Title: Parable of the Great Feast
Contents
January 11 Three-Day Service <The Parable of the Great Feast> (Luke 14:15-24)
Also, Jesus said that if you want to give a feast, it should be given to someone who is uncomfortable or who has nothing to pay. And so is the recipient. When you think of it as a feast in the kingdom of God, it makes no sense to say that you pay it back.
The idea of the feast these Pharisees have now is that when the Messiah comes, the world will be a Jewish world, and they will all be there anyway. What you are doing is the parable of this great feast.
However, these people who invited Jesus today do not know who the owner is. I'm trying to get a good seat first. They seem to be trying to beat each other. If we say that we have come to worship today, is there anything we can do to repay us? And just because you have done something well, what can God give you? If you can't see the emotion and joy of attending, wouldn't it be that you worshiped? So, the heavenly feast will have to put all of me aside, and if you don't, someone will sit there and make the feast a feast.
At the time of these words, there were few people who treated Jesus. So, you might think that you are lucky that Jesus is not here now. However, because the disciples gave their lives to Jesus, at least three years earlier than others, they became apostles. I believe that there will come a day when it will be full and truly like a heavenly feast. But before that, even when it's not full yet, you'll have to work hard before God.
Whether or not you attended the worship service is final, and you will be able to tell by the expression on your face when you leave the service. If your face is clear when you leave after worship, then you have been worshiping well.
