In the Old Testament times, parents had three missions. As a priest, he was responsible for presiding over the worship service. The second is the responsibility of teaching and teaching the Bible as a prophet. The third is to rule and lead as a king. Through these three aspects of responsibility, we are to be raised as perfect children of God. In particular, the education of the Old Testament and the Jews is not a theoretical education, but an education together. It is characteristic that Jesus also trained his disciples while living together for three years. Together, we accomplished these three missions well.
Through the priesthood, we
1) We must put our heart into the salvation of children's souls. In the end, children are destined to end in life and death.
2) We must guide them to live their lives with faith.
3) We must nurture them as people who serve God and our neighbors.
1. It is the ministry of the Word (Deuteronomy 6:7)
Deuteronomy 6:7/ Teach your children diligently. He said he would always talk. In verse 6:1, he made a law commanding you to teach. It is to fear Jehovah God through word education. Ephesians 6:4 says not to provoke your children, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord. Colossians 3:21/ He said lest I become discouraged. He told us not to be discouraged passively and to teach the Word actively. Here, discouragement is interpreted as 1) sadness 2) discouragement 3) disobedience (T. Watson) We need to provide proper work and education to children. Excessive demands are discouraged. And even harsh rebukes and reproaches cause discouragement. It is better to raise children positively as supplements and supplements rather than trying to cut them negatively. We must teach the Word of God so that we can actively and actively cultivate ourselves. The English word EDUCATION comes from the Latin EDUCARE. This word means to withdraw.
So, education is
1) It is a work to be developed. Develop well what God has planted when sending children into the world.

This means that when you do all these things, you must do it through the Word in the Word. Only then will you be revealed as a man of God.
2. This is a prayer ministry.
Parents' prayers are truly important in parenting. It is a very important field in the womb or in the process of being born and nurtured. Hannah prayed for a son and raised children through prayer. 1 Samuel 1:27-28 says that I prayed for this child. Praying for your children is the most important thing to do. How can we raise our children without prayer in this harsh world?

3. This is the ministry of worship.
The priest in the Old Testament is in charge of worship. At home, parents should make sure their children worship God. We need to bow down before God and give praise to God by exalting Him. The sons of Eli's high priest disregarded the worship of God. So, the son was killed on the battlefield as a punishment from God. He should have allowed him to live by exalting God in his life and relying on him. We must make it a habit to meditate on God in Sunday worship and personal life.

1) We must teach them to obey God.
2) We must learn the habit of dedicating ourselves to God through worship.
3) We must nurture the faith we depend on through worship.
4) Through worship, we must love the mediator Jesus Christ.
5) We must maintain a life of godliness through worship.
Worshiping people is the most important act in the priesthood.
4. It is a blessing.
The Hebrews place a lot of heart on the blessings of their parents. God is the one who blesses our lives. In particular, God blesses you with your parents' lips, hands, and prayers. In Mark 10:13-16 it says that Jesus took the little child, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.
1) He holds a small child and prays. / With love

5) We must ask for blessings in the name of God. Instead of cursing or cursing, we should ask for blessings. The devil works on the lips of the saints to stir up emotions so that they cannot pray for blessings.
What you need to keep in mind is that your parents' right life of faith will be the seed of blessing for your children. If we live well by faith, God blesses us with our children. Blessed are parents who have many things to be thankful for with their children in front of them. Parents are the ones who will be blessed before God, remembering that they influence their children through faith rather than genetic factors or environmental factors. God promised the blessings of his children to Abraham, who obeyed God well.
To be a blessed parent
(1) Marriage must be successful. A good marriage lays the foundation for success in your children's education. The married life of two people will have a great impact on their children. Children should be born well.
(2) You must be well nurtured.
(3) You must receive a good education. Bad constitution/disease. This is because low intelligence is inherited from parents. This is because it becomes an inheritance that is difficult to change.

2) Let's be respected parents.
Children who live with respect and trust in their parents will inevitably lead a decent life.
5. It's about governing
In sin children were conceived. Christianity, in particular, believes in the doctrine of the Fall. Children born in sin, even though they appear innocent, are prone to evil. You must iron your children like a king. We must do it just as God becomes our shepherd, rules and guides us and leads us to the happy heaven.
1) Do not raise them as spoiled children. We need to raise our children to be polite and obedient.
2) You should not raise a lazy and irresponsible child.
3) Don't let them grow up to be people who ignore order
4) We must make them grow up to be sincere people.
