Title: Pathway of Disease/ (Deuteronomy 28:15-22)
Contents
As discussed earlier, it turns out that the real cause of disease is Satan. If it is revealed that Satan is behind the disease, through what channel does Satan bring disease into the human body, causing pain and suffering? There are three pathways for disease to enter the human body: firstly, the spiritual factor (sins), secondly the psychological factor (bad emotions), and thirdly, the physical factor, which is the destruction of natural laws. (breaking the natural laws).
1) Spiritual Factors-sins
When a person sins, God's judgment follows. When we sin and do not repent, God's judgment rests upon us. When a person commits a sin, God's judgment stays on it unless he repents immediately, and at the same time, the devil works so that the devil can penetrate and enter the body. The reason for this is that there is a severance caused by the sin between the sinner and God. The eardrum has penetrated into the dahule created by sin between man and God and is destroying and killing people by all means.
In Numbers 12 and 21:1-9, we can see that people suffered physical ailments because they sinned against God. Also, in Deuteronomy 28, the same principle appears, and it records the diseases that humans come from due to the sin of disobedience to God (Deuteronomy 28:15-22). In this way, when God's people commit the sin of disobeying God's commands, they are freed from God's holy protection. When God's protective hand goes away, then Satan takes advantage of the opportunity to cause disease. We know well that before Adam sinned, Adam and Eve had never been ill in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, we can see that the path of disease is entering people through the spiritual factor of sin.
2) Psychological Factors-bad emotions
Among the pathways through which disease enters the body, psychological factors include busy emotions, such as jealousy, fear, bitterness, worry, anger, regret, unforgiveness, and self-centeredness. become a factor in coming. E.L.Sanford states that bad emotions such as bitterness, anger, and resentment cause disease.
A sorrow of the soul dries up the bones (Proverbs 17:22). In other words, if the heart is filled with sorrow, disease will occur in the body. Bad emotions such as frustration, anxiety, worry, worry, anxiety, irritability, and anger invite disease to enter the body. Then why do these bad feelings turn into diseases when they are in the heart? That is, when a person has bad emotions in the mind, the bad emotions affect the nervous system (NERVOUS SYSTEM) and the heart tissue gives pathological stimulation to the cells of the body. In this case, the cells are weakened and germs enter, and diseases occur and grow. Therefore, the psychosomatic relationship is a truth that applies to everyone.
3) physical factors - the destruction of the laws of nature
(Physical Factors-breaking natural laws)
God created nature and natural laws. And within the human body are the natural laws of this creation. The human body, created in the image of God, is very logical, rational, and scientific. Therefore, if we break and destroy the laws of nature operating in the human body, we will commit the sin of disobedience to God the Creator, and as a result, disease through pain will come.
In other words, if you break the laws of nature that exist in a person's body, germs enter the body and cause disease. When a person overworks, the body becomes fatigued. At this time, according to the laws of nature, the body must rest. Nevertheless, if this is ignored, it violates the laws of nature flowing in the body, so it is destroyed, and germs penetrate and disease becomes life.
