Paul's life
Gal 1:20-24
Paul, who confessed in verse 24, “glorified God through me”
He is the “one person” who has had the greatest influence on the church in history.
He not only founded numerous churches, but also
He led them to Jesus and wrote about two-thirds of the New Testament.
What was Paul’s life really like?
Could it be the glory of God?
Looking at his life, we would like to share the grace with him.
1. A life of giving up on oneself
He had a degree and knowledge that no one could beat, and he was a citizen of Rome. Also a Hebrew of Hebrews, a Pharisee of Pharisees,
He was blameless according to the law. But Paul said that to the glory of God, all of these are considered excrement (Philippians 3:7-9).
For the Apostle Paul, the most important thing, the goal of life, was Christ.
Because of this, he was able to give up everything for Christ Jesus.
We too must learn to give up all our glory for the glory of God.
All the conditions to be proud of,
Education, much knowledge, high status, many material things, and even life.
We must be willing to give up for the glory of the Lord.
2. Be proud of your weakness
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:5, “I will boast for such a man,
For my sake I will not boast except in weak things.”
Paul was a man who had come face to face with God and was given many gifts.
He is also a person who has had many spiritual and spiritual experiences.
He saved thousands of souls, healed the sick, cast out demons,
He raised Eutychus from the dead and founded numerous churches.
But he did not boast about them, but rather boasted about his weaknesses and shortcomings.
Because that is the secret of the grace of God and the power of Christ.
Because I knew it and knew it.
Not only that, but because I knew that it was the secret to being used by God to the end.
Then, what happens when you boast about your weaknesses and shortcomings?
Those who boast about their weaknesses and shortcomings have a clear spirit.
So they come to know their own faults (Matt 7:1 and below).
Before I look at the speck in another's eye, I look at the beam in my own eye,
I do not judge or criticize others.
And I know how to be generous with others.
