Returning to the main text, 'peace' generally refers to a state of being unharmed, that is, there are no worries or problems.
Such peace can be said to be an essential element of the peace that the Bible speaks of.
There can never be peace in a state of turmoil and anxiety, worry and worry. So, peace is not only the essence of peace, but it is also the basis for the happiness and blessing that people seek.
Therefore, the Jews and the members of the early church used this peace as a greeting, and other religions of the world also make it the great purpose of religion to obtain peace.
Let's take a look at the true meaning of peace, its contents, and the way to obtain it.

1. meaning of peace
The Old Testament term ‘shalom’, which means ‘peace’, is a complex concept with several meanings.
Among them, it means 'safe' and 'peaceful', and as it is said, "May my people be in a peaceful house, a safe dwelling place, and a quiet resting place" (Isaiah 32:18), a state of calm and stability is the general condition of peace. Meaning.
Also, the word ‘Eirene’ in the New Testament is the opposite of ‘war, strife, and strife,’ and refers to a calm and stable state without fighting.
As such, the primary meaning of peace in the Bible refers to a calm and stable external environment, and it refers to a state of being free from any problems and defects.
If you are not free from the problems of sin, injustice, and unbelief, even if the environment is stable and you are rich, you will not be able to achieve true peace.
Therefore, God declares that “there is no peace with the wicked” (Isaiah 57:21), and the Bible points out that the peace of the world who ignores God is “a lie” (1 Thessalonians 5:3).

This is the answer I received in the small voice of God during early morning prayer a while ago after I was constantly complaining to the Lord because it was so hard in the world.
“It’s never hard when you’re with me.”
After all, it's really like that these days. Social life is a series of irritants, but spiritually, I feel infinite peace. It's business work, church work, extra-curricular activities. The body is weary, but spiritually wisdom springs up.
2. How to find peace
The people of the world believe that in order to obtain the environment and peace of mind, it is necessary to have wealth and authority.
That is why they do not hesitate to do injustice and iniquity to obtain it.
However, the peace obtained through injustice and sin is temporary and rather causes disturbance, pain, and anguish.
On the other hand, the Bible tells us that we can find peace only when we walk in righteousness and honesty, and when we walk in righteousness.
“He has entered into peace, and anyone who harms the way . . . Rest in peace” (Isaiah 57:2), and “Great peace are those who love your law, and there will be no obstacle for them” (Psalm 119:165).
Only those who obey the gospel will know the true truth, be set free from sin, and be protected by God.
In fact, on this earth, we may not be able to find complete peace.
No, in the life of a believer who strives to do righteousness and live a godly life, personal stability may be more difficult to achieve.
Therefore, even in noisy, painful, and dizzying circumstances, believers must be firmly convinced of God's love and the covenant of eternal life, and always rely on God for their problems through prayer and supplication.
Then you will receive eternal peace in heaven that can overcome all circumstances.
