<Introduction>
We would like to share the grace with you under the title “Peace I leave with you.
After Adam's rebellion and fall, the world came under the control of the devil, and the devil took over the hearts of men with sins, greed, and various greed. As long as there is the devil's sin and greed, this world cannot be at peace. Human history has been swept away by the storm of evil and greed caused by the devil, and has passed through a murderous struggle for survival, war, and slaughter. However, even in the midst of such anxiety, fear and chaos, we can live with peace in our hearts. This peace is not based on the environmental conditions of the world, but the peace of mind that the Lord gives us in storms. The storm was against the Sea of Galilee, but Jesus slept in the stomach even in the waves that covered the heavens and the earth. This is the kind of peace that the Lord has promised to give us, which transcends human experience and understanding.
1. There is no peace apart from God who is the Lord of peace
First, we must know God, the Lord of peace, and apart from God, there is absolutely no peace. It was Adam who experienced mankind's first fear and anxiety. When Adam was with God, there was no anxiety or fear at all. It was filled with only peace, rest, and joy.
In Genesis 3:9-10, “The Lord God called to Adam and said to him, ‘Where are you?
Psalm 91:1 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will dwell under the shadow of the Almighty.” Before we live under the shadow of Almighty God, we humans have constant existential anxiety. Augustine, the first father and theologian, said, "You created us for You, O Lord, so our hearts do not rest until we find a word in You. There is no peace in our hearts until we believe in Jesus and find rest in God's arms." said. I've read stories like this. I was standing confidently on the shores of a Scottish wharf, and the wind was blowing, and suddenly a bird flew like a bullet and suddenly fell into my arms. Where is this? How does a bird get into my bosom from the sea? one in a hurry
