peace in the country

peace in the country

(Jeremiah 29:7; Gal 5:1)

Our church climbs the mountain on March 1st every year. It started in 1986, and I start climbing around this time of the year. The biggest meaning is to commemorate the 3.1 verse, and the second is for the saints to have fellowship while climbing the place where the new spring comes.(...)

Our church reads the Declaration of Independence every Sunday on verse 3.1.(...) If there are two days that stand out in our history, one is verse 3.1 and the other is Liberation Day. These two days are also deeply related to us Christians. So, these two days, we Christians, we must carefully cherish, meditate on, and receive a lesson.

Of the 33 national representatives of the independence movement, 16 were Christians.(...) At that time, Namgang Lee Seung-hoon, the Christian representative, led the declaration of independence, which was hesitant.(...) and its righteousness (Matthew 6:33).(...) Without a nation, we cannot properly keep our faith.(...) Christians in our country did not doubt the harmony of patriotism and faith.(...) ) Christians are the ones who protested the most and were martyred the most during the Japanese persecution.(...)

Leviticus teaches God's people how to live. In Leviticus there is the idea of subjunctive. It means to help the weak.(...) There is a warning in Leviticus regarding this. It means that if you oppress and persecute the weak, God will judge them.

3.1 Movement is God's work. Freedom and equality are God's thoughts, God's will. A few people shouted and rose up, and the whole world heard it. It is the grace of God.(...)

It was because of Israel's sin that Israel became a captivity to Babylon (...). God lifts up a strong nation and uses it as a stick, and lifts up a human being, and uses it as a whip.(...) But in today's text, God is dealing with the captive Israelites, a cruel Babylon that you do not want to see and do not want to deal with. But (as long as you are there) he tells you to pray for the peace of the country. When that country is at peace, you are at peace.(...)

After leaving the ship, whether the captain or passengers, pray for a comfortable sailing, and get in the car. The Lord told his disciples to pray for the peace of anyone's house they go to. Wherever I go, there must always be a fruit of peace. Shalom comes from above when we seek it. Let's pray more than now for the country, the church, and the shalom of our families and neighbors. Amen
