Title: Peace Offerings Through Faith

Contents

The reconciliation offering that achieves eternal reconciliation with God is the human body. Therefore, no one can truly be reconciled to God unless he offers his sinful body as a whole burnt offering. This opened the way for one person to offer first on behalf of all people, and through faith in this Jesus, in that one person, all people can offer it as a living sacrifice that is pleasing to God as a propitiation through faith. It is the same as the words of the testimony, which is written, “The new and living way that he opened for us through the veil, and the veil is his flesh” (Hebrews 10:20).

Those who do not offer their sinful bodies to God as a propitiation sacrifice in imitation of His death cannot be reconciled to God. Salvation is the offering of the body of sin as a holy living sacrifice in Christ Jesus and eternal reconciliation to God. Therefore, those who truly believe in Jesus are the ones who fulfill the saying, "If we have been united in the likeness of his death, we will also be united in the likeness of his resurrection" (Romans 6:5).

This is why the gospel says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. He instituted it as a propitiation sacrifice, so that, in the forbearance of God, He might show His righteousness, by passing over the previous sins, that He might show His righteousness at this time, that He might be righteous, and those who believe in Jesus Christ.” (Romans 3:23-26) It is the same as the words of the testimony.

Therefore, concerning the source of salvation, “God demonstrates his love for us in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. we will be saved from this, that if we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. We also rejoice in God through Christ” (Romans 5:8-11).

In this way, concerning the reality of salvation through faith, “We know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that the body of sin might be put to death, and that we would no longer be enslaved to sin, because the dead have died from sin. For if we died with Christ, we also live with him, knowing that, since Christ was raised from the dead, he will not die again, and death will no longer have dominion over him” (Romans 6: 6-9) was the proof.

It is written, "All things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, because God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, and He did not ascribe to them, but entrusted us with the word of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18-19), the good God reconciled all the sins of the world to Himself forever through the propitiation of His Son’s blood Those who are reconciled in the house of the good God the Father, may rejoice with the Son and live together forever and ever.

This is why the Bible testifies, “Pursue peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).

Peace is peace, peace, peace, peace. Therefore, Jesus, who had come as the Prince of Peace, lamented in the city of Jerusalem, “When he came near, he saw the city, and wept over it, saying, “You should have wished that you also had known about the peace today, but now it is hidden from your eyes” (Luke 19:41-42). and wept.

Therefore, he testified of Christ Jesus, saying, "He is the propitiation for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:2). This is because the sin offering is a reconciliation offering that brings reconciliation to God.

For this reason, he testified, “Here is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us and sent his Son as a propitiation for our sins” (1 John 4:10), and the Lord Jesus Himself said, “Peace Blessed are the healers, for they will be called the sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). Amen, thank you Lord.
