Title: Peace Offerings with Thanksgiving (Leviticus 07:15)

Contents The peace offering is a thanksgiving offering that rejoices in those who have been forgiven before God. Above all, the believer must know how to rejoice in being forgiven.

The sinful woman did not refrain from kissing the Lord, but anointed her with perfume. This woman had many sins forgiven and offered a peace offering of thanks for loving the Lord (Luke 7:36-50).

1. It is a sacrifice of peace.

Reconciliation means the sacrifice of peace. It is a voluntary offering for thanksgiving, vows, etc., but like all other sacrifices it also has an element of atonement (verse 2). This foreshadows that whatever the saints do before God, they must have the blood of Christ.

Giving oil to God in this sacrifice (3:3-5) is equivalent to offering one's life to him, so it means offering the most precious and best thing.

This is when Christian believers express their gratitude by giving the best of their thanks to God. In this way, peace with God is established.

2. You must eat the offerings The order of eating the offerings has a special meaning. This can be seen from the fact that the eating of sacrifices must comply with various spiritual laws (Lev 22:10-16,30).

When we look at the Passover celebration, we realize the truth of these sacrifices in more detail.

When Israel kept the Passover, the first thing they put on the doorpost was the blood of a lamb. It compares the Atonement. And they gather in the house to eat the meat of the sheep

Among the teachings of Jesus, he taught that believers should believe just as they eat and drink (John 6:53).

We do not believe in Christ from the outside, but we must receive it in our hearts as we eat food.

Eating and drinking food is not someone who eats my food to maintain my body, but only eats and drinks by myself, so I maintain my body and my life and work. It is my absolute duty and responsibility that I cannot do.

Who will give thanks for the blessings I have received? I must sacrifice to God with gratitude and be devoted and faithful.
