Title: Peace through love
The Bible admonishes us, “As far as possible, be at peace with all men” (Romans 12:18).
Why did the God of love send his only begotten Son, Jesus, to this earth to save people who have become enemies of sin?
It is to make the Lord a peace offering so that we can enjoy peace and be at peace with God.
The saints who have been saved in Christ through God's great love can enjoy peace through that grace.
In this way, I would like to discuss together what kind of peace can be enjoyed by believers and what kind of role love should play.
1. Peace without fear
When we act in love, we make peace.
There is no fear in love.
Because perfect love casts out fear.
Life is afraid of death because of sin, and when there is hatred and hatred, it is insecure before the God of love.
But those who clothe themselves with the love of God and walk with the love of Christ make peace without fear.
Steel King Carnegie said, "Other people are concerned before working, worrying while working, and worrying after working, but I was only concerned for the job, so I was able to increase my efficiency three times more than others."
A believer does not need to worry today because of regret for yesterday or worry about tomorrow.
Joshua, who marched in faith without fear, was able to enjoy peace and rest by overthrowing the strong city of Jericho and conquering the Promised Land of Canaan.
When you lay down your worries and worries before the Lord and walk in faith today, true peace will come.
Yehwa - Don't worry~
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
As we go through life, we have no choice but to live in constant contact with concerns.
A lot of worries that always come to us, problems to be dealt with urgently,
I have concerns about difficulties that I cannot solve on my own.
Not only because we believed in God and received salvation, but also because we entrusted our lives to God.
Although our lives should always be filled with peace and joy,
Why is our life so hard and painful?
The key to solving these problems lies in the word 'worry'.
Anxiety is an obstacle to grace.
In Philippians 4:6, “Do not be anxious about anything”, the word “anxiety” in Greek means “merimnau”.
If you unravel the meaning, it means 'to take a thought'.
In other words, don't let our thoughts hold onto any of the things that happen to us.
Although we have to let these things out of our minds
They often hold onto them and never let go.
The important thing is not to hold onto my thoughts and let them go.
Don't let your thoughts get caught up in anything. Just let your thoughts go.
To just let go of my thoughts means to just let go of my thoughts
It means letting God hold onto my thoughts.
To allow God to intervene in our difficulties
We must pray to the Lord.
It is when we earnestly ask God through prayer that we can solve our problems.
As soon as it is time to let go of our thoughts, God
Please remember that it is time to hold onto it.
When we pray and supplicate God with all our hearts
Anxiety will not control our thoughts and will be governed by God.
We are missing something,
When you have difficulties, give thanks to God for what you are with all your heart and try to tell Him what you are.
2. Peace that unites
Everyone wants peace.
But the world is always at odds with hatred and hatred, strife and strife.
In a world without peace, we realize the preciousness of peace even more.
Before the ascension, the Lord prayed for the disciples to be united, the church to be united, and peace.
Therefore, the disciples, who were united in the love of Christ, were filled with power and spoke in various tongues during the work of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, but they experience the work of understanding each other.
People who were divided and scattered in different languages at the Tower of Babel were united in the Holy Spirit.
When we become one in the love of the Lord, the power of the Holy Spirit comes upon us, and the wonderful peace that enables us to carry out the work of God without any fear will come.
The Lord came to us who were enemies of God in our sins, reconciled us to God through love, and proclaimed peace.
The Lord who has made us also one has peace in love, the perfect bond.
May you always be filled with this grace of love and peace.
