Title: People Born Again by the Holy Spirit

Contents

When a person is born again, he is born again by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, what is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit. The flesh follows the flesh, and the spirit follows the spirit. It is false to say that we live according to the flesh and are born again of the Spirit. Because those who are born of the Spirit are children of God with Christ, they are to walk according to the Spirit, not according to the flesh.

The Bible says that we have put off the old man and put on the new man, and also testifies that the old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Faith in which the old man, that is, the flesh, along with its passions and desires, has not been crucified is a false faith that cannot lead to salvation. For faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

Therefore it is testified, "...we were buried with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life." ’ (Romans 6:4). First you die with him, and then you live with him again.

Therefore, it is written, “Therefore, if ye have been raised with Christ, seek the things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. ' (Colossians 3:1-3).

Since faith is the killing of what we hope for, and what we do not see is the evidence, death with him and being raised with him is only through faith that the body of sin died with Jesus and the body of a spiritual body was raised with Christ. It can only be done by faith working through love. As it is written, “The righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel, from faith to faith, as it is written, The righteous will live by faith” (Romans 1:17).

Also, "In the same way, consider yourselves dead to sins and alive to God in Christ Jesus" (Romans 6:11).

This is as it is written, “Abraham hoped and believed in hope...” (Romans 4:18). Therefore, the faith that is born through Christ Jesus must come true as it is believed.

Since the children of God who are born again by the Holy Spirit live by this precious faith, they no longer live according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. So the Lord Himself said, “I have given them your word, and the world hates them, because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I pray not that you take them out of the world. But to keep you from falling into evil. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world” (John 17:14-16).

Also, the one who was born of the Spirit testified, “That the requirements of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:4). This is because fulfilling the requirements of the law is the way to fulfill God's righteousness. The requirements of the law are fulfilled only in Christ by faith. “So the law became our tutor to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified through faith” (Galatians 3:24). is.

Also, “We are not as Moses put a veil on his face, so that the children of Israel would not notice the end of what was to come. The veil will be taken away in Christ” (2 Corinthians 3:13-14). Now the veil that covered his face in Christ is removed.

The perishable glory that was covered with a veil on Moses' face disappears only in Christ. That vanishing glory is the “law of sin and death,” which condemns and kills the sinful old man. Therefore, the ministry of Moses was called “the ministry of condemnation.” It is written, "If the ministry of condemnation has glory, the ministry of righteousness abounds in glory" (2 Corinthians 3:9). The office of glory is that of “the law of the Spirit of life.”

Therefore, it is written, “He did not follow the law of commandments pertaining to the flesh, but according to the power of infinite life” (Hebrews 7:16).

This is because the glory that will pass away only in Christ ends. So those who are in Christ Jesus are no longer under a tutor that leads to Christ. This is because we are already in Christ by faith.

It is also written, “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as those raised from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For we are not under law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? It can not be. To whomever you present yourselves as slaves to obey, you know that you are slaves to the one whom you obey. Or, the slavery of sin leads to death, and the slavery of obedience leads to righteousness” (Romans 6:13-16).

True glory forever and ever to God our Father, who has given us new life through Christ Jesus so that we may live again forever under the grace that sin cannot control. Amen

“What then shall we say? Shall we dwell in sin so that grace may increase? No way. How shall we, who were dead to sin, live any longer in it?” (Romans 6:1-2) Amen, thank the Lord.
