Title: People, Clothes, and the Bible
Contents
It is a busy season to prepare for winter. As a child, preparations for winter went on as soon as the harvest season was over. On a winter day, the men would rush to the mountains on firewood, and the wives would struggle to prepare kimchi. Not only humans prepare for winter, but all living creatures need preparation for winter. When I was young, I wrote in front of the fire station, and it means that if I prepare, I will avoid tribulation. The best way to avoid freezing to death or cold in winter is to prepare in advance before winter. The Bible teaches how to get through this winter well. In general, people live in three types of time management.
Hana> lives without being able to prepare for the future by being bound by reality. I'm busy putting out the fire that fell in front of my feet. They seem to be faithful to reality, but they have no room to think about tomorrow because of reality.
The other is> I always live a rosy life. I live intoxicated with the vivid colors of the rainbow. I'm dreaming 10 years from now, so I don't know what I'm going to do today. They shout “I have a dream”, but this is a delusion. Dreams do not come true for those who dream, but for those who make them come true. Sometimes I ask children what they want to do in the future and they will become president. Then, when asked what they are preparing to become president, there are children who answer, “You have to grow up to become president?” There are dreams and wishes, but wishes and dreams for such a person do not come true for this person. Why, because you don't prepare your dreams.
Another is to live by connecting the future with today. As I just said, I am a person who dreams and prepares for that dream. Blessing has the same etymology as the word bleed. It is only through the labor of the shedding of blood that the fruits of blessing can be produced. Crown (Glory) is obtained through the Cross. Winter is not only in seasons, but also in life. If childhood is spring, youth is summer, and adulthood is autumn, old age is winter. How should believers face winter as a season and winter (old age) in their lives?
