Title: People Jesus Cares About
Contents
The world's most precious broadcaster
Hello, dear listeners of Jeju Far East Broadcasting.
Today, I read Luke 4:40-41 as the main text.
I will speak under the title People Jesus Was Interested in.
At sunset, all those who were afflicted with various ailments came to them with the sick.
Jesus laid his hands on them one by one and healed them, and demons came out of many.
He went out and cried out, "You are the Son of God."
Jesus rebuked them and did not allow them to speak.
Because he knew that he was a Christian - Amen-
One day, Jesus went to visit Peter's house, who was called a disciple.
and then
He healed Peter's mother-in-law, who was suffering from a fever in the house.
The people who saw this scene saw people suffering from various diseases.
brought to Jesus.
By the way
It was the evening when Jesus had to rest after a day's work.
However, Jesus said he would come back tomorrow and did not send them back.
He laid his hands on them one by one and healed them or cast out demons.
badly
You didn't have to fix it that day.
Also, you didn't have to lay your hands on your hands.
He did not send them back, but healed them one by one until late at night.
Jesus did this because he was interested in the sick.
After this, many sick people came to Jesus, and every time
Jesus healed them
He showed special concern for the sick.
Second, Jesus cares about the brokenhearted.
It is difficult for a person to endure being sick while living in the world.
You don't know how difficult it is to endure a heartache.
There are many physical diseases that are visible.
It is because the wounds of the heart are invisible to the eye.
Because even if you are dying to the point of burning your stomach, you look fine
Often, others do not even acknowledge their heartache.
So I feel more pain in my heart.
Jesus was very interested in those who had these wounds.
According to Mark 2:16, many people in Jesus' day pointed their fingers.
There is a story about the tax collector who was living with it.
The scribes of the Pharisees saw Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors.
When he saw it, he said to his disciples, "Why do you eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
The Pharisees of that time regarded tax collectors as sinners.
So they did not have business with tax collectors.
But when Jesus was having a meal with a tax collector, he saw this and was amazed.
He said to his disciples, “Why eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
People hated tax collectors so much that they even treated them as criminals.
So the tax collectors were lonely.
I had a healthy body, a lot of money, and a solid job, but there were many wounds in my heart.
The words of many people, including the Pharisees,
They all flew with arrows and fell into the publican's heart.
But Jesus took interest in these tax collectors.
Today, my listeners and I are wounded in our hearts in one way or another on this earth.
I bless you to become a person who pays more attention to those who live.
Third, Jesus cares for those who have lost hope.
In Luke 7:11 and below, the story of the widow of Nain is recorded.
She was living with her son without a husband.
But the son died. It was the only hope for the widow of Nain.
That hope has only vanished.
Jesus saw his son, who had been his hope, going to the funeral.
Then there was no request from the widow, no request from the disciples, and no
Even without a request, Jesus himself arranged the funeral procession.
Then he saved his son.
He raised his dead son to life despite no request.
It was because there was so much interest in those who had lost hope.
Jesus' interest in this is still the same today.
The things of the world that we believed in on this earth are falling apart,
What we expected is gone,
Everything in the world we depended on is gone
When I am in deep disappointment and frustration, Jesus comes to us.
And open the way for us to live,
By creating a way to solve problems, you give us hope.
Dear listeners who love God!
Are you in deep despair right now?
Don't let yourself down and pray to God.
Don't blame your neighbors or others, but seek God.
Jesus, who cares a lot about those who have lost hope,
I believe it will give you hope.
Fourth, Jesus cares about the mortal sinner.
What is left of the woman caught in adultery
It was to be stoned to death. There was no other way.
However, Jesus showed interest in this woman.
If you tell those who captured him to do as you said, Jesus said
It was simple, but you didn't do that.
You did something you wouldn't normally do.
It was written by himself on the road floor.
You can't find Jesus like this anywhere else.
Then he told the innocent to throw stones at them.
Everyone who was there left one by one.
His words at that time are recorded in John 8:10-11.
Jesus got up and saw that there was no one but a woman, and said,
Woman, where are those who accused you? Has no one condemned you?
He answered, "No, Lord." Jesus said, "I do not condemn you either
Go and sin no more.”
Then the woman lived.
Jesus' interest in death did not end there.
Jesus also declared that He did not condemn Him.
And he cared about her future as well.
He even told them to go and sin no more.
In this way, Jesus' interest was even on those who had sinned to death.
Jesus' interest like this extended to me and all of my listeners.
He shed His precious blood on the cross for us who deserved death for our sins.
You saved me and all of you by His blood. -Amen-
The prophet Isaiah revealed this fact through Isaiah 53:5.
He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities.
By his chastisement we have peace; by his wounds we are
He said he was healed.
Paul says in Romans 6:10
His death was said to be death once for all to sin.
Dear listeners who love God!
Lent started last Wednesday.
It is Lent every year, but we always need to renew our minds.
Until Easter, the first Sunday in April, Jesus was especially interested in
We hope we can be interested too.
Like Jesus, give more attention to those who are in physical ailments.
Those with broken hearts and those who have lost hope in one way or another
And even to those who have sinned to death
Thank you for your interest.
Seasonally, a new spring has begun, but
In life, there are many neighbors who are still going through the cold winter.
I am thankful that Jesus died on the cross for me.
Dear listeners who show God's generous love to these people,
I bless you in the name of Jesus, who is the most fashionable man in the world.
