16. This is what the LORD says: Stand on the road and see, and see where the old way, the good way, is, and go there, and you will find peace in your soul, but they answered, We will not go there.
17. I have also set a watch over you; listen to the sound of the trumpet, but they say, We will not listen.
18. Hear therefore, ye nations, and know what shall happen to them, multitudes.
19. Hear, O earth, that I will bring calamity upon this people, and this is the result of their thoughts;

17. Brothers and sisters, imitate me together, and take note of those who walk in the same way as you imitate us.
18. As I have told you many times, I still say this with tears in my eyes, that many act as enemies of the cross of Christ.
19. Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, their glory is in their shame, who cares about the things of the earth.
20. But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Title: People of Heaven on Earth
Text: Jeremiah 6:16-19, Philippians 3:17-21
These are words based on the faith you have personally experienced and experienced. There is a saying that ‘history repeats itself’, but the history of redemption started through Christ rejects that tradition. The symbol of the history of redemption that began through Jesus Christ is the cross. However, there were ‘those who act as enemies of the cross’ in the church at that time. It is unbelief that rejects the way of salvation that God has provided (Acts 4:12). It is an act of perverted faith. Among these characteristics, he is called ‘those who are mindful of the things of the earth’ (Philippians 3:19). The result is not salvation, but destruction. It is rebellion that honors what should be ashamed. The end of disobeying the will of heaven was God's judgment and destruction. The result of thinking is clear in the heavens and the earth (Jeremiah 6:19). Christians are people who should live with the sky in mind.
The heart of the Christian faith is the cross. 1) It is believing in the love of God revealed on the cross (Isaiah 53). This faith is the alpha and omega of the Christian life. So, the inner evidence of the Holy Spirit who has come among us as the Comforter is that Jesus is the Christ (John 15:26; 1 Corinthians 12:3). The faith that began in this way is the way to please God (Hebrews 11:6). 2) It is to take up the cross that is given according to the will of the holy God (Matthew 16:24). This is the second step in following Jesus. It is the practice of living a life that follows Jesus. If the first is that love, the second is the practice of that love. Without that love, there is no way to put that love into practice. That is why the practice of love is called “the channel of that love.” Through this love and the practice of love, everything in our lives is changed (Philippians 3:21). It is a change that is taking place in the process of sanctification.
