In today's verse of this text, there is a verse that says, 'Let the word be revealed, so that I may not run in vain, nor labor in vain. Also in verse 15 we read, “As children without blemish and without blemish, among them in the world you shine as lights…”
'There is no blemish, it appears with lights. The words “or reveal” are referring to children of light. So this morning's message is titled 󰡔People of Light󰡕 is.
There are two kinds of people in this world.
One is the people of darkness, the other is the people of light. In this world, bright day and dark night alternate with each other, and these two are like who goes first? As if racing, as if fighting, the world now alternates between day and night. Sometimes the day is long, sometimes the day and night are the same, sometimes the night seems to be creeping, and in this way, day and night, darkness and light, these two intersect each other in the world of time, what is life before us? What is the world? It seems to teach you what to do.
Obviously, there are two kinds of people in the world.
One is the people of light, the other is the people of darkness.
The Bible tells us that the powers of darkness are doing great things to harm the children of light and to devour them. The children of God are children of light. The children of the world are children of darkness. The people of God's spirit are people of light. Those who mate with the devil and evil spirits and live in partnership with evil spirits are said to be dark forces, people of darkness. Also, those in power on this earth who hold the power of the world and view that authority as if they have been with them for the rest of their lives, idolizing themselves and idolizing themselves as if their authority was greater than that of God! They say they are all dark forces.
The children of God's light do not boast of the power of the world. These are people who are not proud of their material possessions just because they are rich, nor do they boast about their material possessions. These are people who do not extract knowledge just because they have a lot of knowledge.
Truly everyone! People of light do not boast of any lineage or family in the world, but boast of God the Lord Jesus Christ, and praise the power of the grace of salvation that I received the blood of Jesus Christ and was born as a new person in Christ and redeemed me. And they are people who radiate the light of Jesus and live that light.
We live with joy in receiving God's grace, and we do not live with joy just because we have worldly things. The children of light are like the stars in the sky who lead everything in this world, and are like the rising sun in the morning. When the morning sun rises, everyone gets up and works. We should remember that the world is strengthened and the world is changed because of some people of God's light.
It is said that there were many ancient Greek philosophers who carried lanterns even in broad daylight. There is a story about the Greek lamp. A blind man is walking down the street with a lantern in broad daylight. The blind man carries a lamp, day or night. But one night I went down the street with a lantern. Why does the blind man carry a lamp? He carries a lamp with his eyes so dark that he cannot see. It means that he carried a lantern to keep others from bumping into him! This is the step of a very wise blind man.
But one time I go, and someone bumps into me and goes. The blind man fires his oar and shouts, 'Who strikes the blind man?' He scolds me for saying that I can't see even though I have eyes. So the person who hit it looked at the blind man's lamp and found that it had been out for a long time. They scold him as they bring a charred lantern without a very hot energy that has burned out the wick. That's why he says, 'Your lamp has been lit for a long time.' It's a very interesting story.
What do you say? It is a lesson to realize that the children of light in the world live as if they were children of light by carrying an empty lamp with the light turned off.
Who are the children of light? We are children of light.
Indeed, Jesus said. “I am the light of the world,” he said. Those who believe in Jesus are children of light. Those who have the authority of children of God are the lamps that shine.
In Matthew 5:14, Jesus said, “You are the light of the world.” In today’s text, the words ‘without blemish’ are emphasized twice: ‘You are blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and disturbing generation. But there is the word ‘pure’ among them. To be without blemish means to be an innocent person. It is said that ‘people of light are pure people’.
In the Old Testament, there is a saying in the Old Testament that God praised him as the most pure person and said, “You are pure and upright.” Although you are the richest person in the East, the person with the greatest reputation, and the person with the greatest faith, in one word, “You are pure and honest.”
God taught Job in the Old Testament, and in the beginning of Job 1, he said, “There was a man who was pure and upright, and he was Job, the greatest of the East.” What kind of person does God see and value? is a pure person.
We are talking about pure gold. How does this pure gold become pure gold? It appears in pure gold through many podiums. The gold nuggets in the mountains are not pure gold.
Mixed with stone and soil, it cannot express its value by itself. When it becomes pure gold, it exhibits infinite value and is loved by many people, and many people want to keep and own it as a treasure.
Everyone! In this world, Christians must be pure. Then everyone wants him, wants to be close to him, wants to be with him, wants to be recognized by him, wants to be loved, he really envys him, and he becomes the standard and standard in my heart, thoughts and life is. How much gold is in a dollar? You know that it is the standard of value. Watching the price of gold go up and down gives you an idea of how the international game is going now. Pure gold is the standard of value.
Children of the light of our God today! I want you to become the standard of value on this earth, the standard of morality, the standard of ideology, the standard of life, the standard of personal relationships, and that you become like anyone or anything. I want you to be like that person's son, everyone! Like any school, it should be Korean...
What is this? It is the standard of faith. It is a standard of morality. It is the standard for the church to grow and reconcile. The church is the standard for being a church.
Everyone! Our church, dear family members, truly hope that we will become the standard for all of our lives, faith, morals and history on this earth. These are the people of light. The children of light must become pure gold and become the real standard on this earth.
Second, the children of light are those who live by actions without words.
Light shines silently. The light illuminates the morning with no sound. The sun does not make a sound when it rises, and the light shines silently when it illuminates any world. Any light today. Light is light that works silently in any world of nature. Through the light of our isotopes, it shines light into our bone marrow to burn inflammation and kill germs. We live in this scientific age, where even our marrow silently shines light to heal diseases.
What does the morning sun tell us? Quiet morning. The twinkling stars in the sky silently illuminate the sky, and it is the light of the sky that keeps the hope of a stranger walking on this earth dark even though it is dark. The saints are not people who live noisy on this earth. Changes must be made wherever we go. We need to make changes in every family we live in, and in every society we live in. The world of light is a world of change. The world of light is the world of healing. The world of light is a world that works in silence.
We must live by our actions before we speak. Before we speak, we must be the people who turn noisy societies into a world of peace. Who is making this happen? For whom? People of light are people who become the driving force behind change and creation by living in the body through action and silently.
Finally, thirdly, we must lead others into the light and live.
You must become an evangelist by racing with all your might. My running was not in vain, and Paul sometimes compared our lives to a race. The saints were said to be the racers of this land. The runner must run to the end. The racer goes ahead and has the one behind him follow. Marathon runners! A person who runs ahead! The person in the back sees only the back of the person and runs away. You only see the back of the person who goes to the 1st place, and the person who goes to the 2nd place follows.
Thousands of people after that will look at the people who went before and run. In other words, a person who takes the lead leads and leads many people. A racer spends his whole life devoting his life to the moment, in other words, for the moment of winning the gold medal and winning the championship towards that moment, the final point of victory.
Everyone! Our saints have a short life, but what do we live our lives for? Those who live for the reward of heaven.
Looking at the Lord who has prepared an infinite reward for us and is preparing it even now, I pray that you will become victorious runners today.
Father God! Thank you very much.
Thank you for calling your loved ones this morning and making them a victorious runner running after you for the reward of heaven.
Heavenly Father! Please see! Thank you for giving our church the faith that awakens the dawn. Thank you for the history of faith that awakens eternity. May it be a miracle dawn! Let it be the dawn of change! May the glory of God be revealed! May the road ahead of your children be open! Lord! I want you to take me captive with power and power and wisdom.
Help parents to understand what they need to understand, and repent of what they need to repent of, and give them that those who will be changed before the Father first will be transformed so that the hand of God's glory and power will appear on their children, on their families, and on everything! Believe it, Father! Lord, show me your power! Have mercy on us and appear in the light of heavenly glory, so that as the sun rises in the morning, so may your wonderful light appear in our hearts and in our marrow! May those who are to be healed be healed, and those to be healed may be healed, so that they may be filled with Your miracles! Trust me, I beg you in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
