Title: People who are unconditionally grateful

people who are unconditionally grateful

Philippians 4:6, 1 Timothy 4:3-5

1. Introduction

Today (November 16th) is Thanksgiving Day. The Bible tells us to be thankful for everything, but in our lives, it is normal for us to spend the whole year in worry, worry, anxiety, complaints, complaints, resentment, sighs, and irritability, rather than giving thanks. Therefore, we cannot help but thank God for the wisdom that allowed us to meditate on “thanks” and restore a grateful heart even on such a special day. It is very meaningful that the English word "thanks" has the same etymology as the original word "Think". Because only a person who can think (Homo Sapience) can have the emotion-feel-emotion of gratitude. A thoughtless person will never know gratitude.

So, when and how does gratitude arise?

It is the time to reflect on yourself. In other words, after the son, who had deeply resented his strict father, grew up and went out into society to overcome all sorts of factions and stand firm, he realized how immature and grumpy his resentment towards his father was in the past, and he thanked his father who raised him strictly. Rather, it is the revival of the spirit of gratitude that restores the spirit of gratitude.

2. In the Bible, rivers of thanksgiving are overflowing (Read and think! Depth!)

Jesus tells us to consider how the lilies of the field grow (Matthew 6:28). Think! and you will know thanks!

3. What are you unconditionally grateful for?

first. I must be grateful that I am alive now, seeing, hearing, walking, reading, speaking, thinking, and living like this. “It is a miracle that I have ten fingers!” wrote: Even if you don't have ten fingers - even if you don't have one arm or one leg - even if you have bad eyes like me - even if you're handicapped - even if you don't succeed - even if you aren't pretty - even if your family isn't in good shape - even if you're an idiot- even if you're in debt- even if you're a bit stupid -Even if you're too old now- No matter what kind of difficult life you're going through, if you're still alive, you should be thankful unconditionally.

Why? God spoke to Satan. “Satan, I will give Job into your hand. You may inflict any physical, economic, psychological, or religious suffering to Job. But do not harm his life” (Job 2:6) because that life remains in me. Because my 生命 (life) is “God’s command to live”!

second. Whether the life I am receiving and enjoying right now is negative or positive, I have to be grateful unconditionally. Jesus said that not a single sparrow will fall unless it is the will of God. Everything that happens in this universe created by God is seamlessly connected to each other in the will of God.

For example, here is a bowl of rice in front of me. This bowl of rice is not just a bowl of rice. In this bowl of rice, the farmer + rice miller + bowl maker + transporter + restaurant owner + chef + serving lady and wind + sunlight + rain + weather + typhoon + insects and thousands of cosmic energy are concentrated in this bowl. is. The expression “I think the chrysanthemum has been weeping like that since spring for a single chrysanthemum flower” is not an illogical poetic expression (what has anything to do with the blooming of a chrysanthemum and the weeping of a chrysanthemum) but is extremely logical from the cosmic perspective created by God. expression. This is because chrysanthemums bloomed so beautifully after hearing the energy of their cries. Therefore, I must be unconditionally grateful for my present life.

If my life is negative right now, I should be more grateful. Because God is the One who gives thanks for the darkness and gives the starlight-Grateful for the starlight gives the moonlight-Gives the moonlight and gives sunlight-Gives the sunlight-Gives the light of God's glory and the lamp of the Lamb. (for the glory of God it light and the Lamb is its lamp Revelation 21:23).

third. I have to give thanks unconditionally to God who perfectly guides the future of my life. The last words of Jesus’ 架上七言 (virtual seven words) “It is finished (John 19:30)!” The Greek word "teleo" used in “I have finished my course (finished 2 Tim. 4:5)!” “Teleo-teleo” is also used in the confession of the Apostle Paul.

What does it mean? On the last day of my life, God said, "You have completed the mission of your life that I gave you (teleo)!" You have to trust that you will be praised and give thanks unconditionally.
