Sermons for Preaching

Title: People who believe, this world cannot afford

1. Introduction

<Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, for by this the forefathers obtained the evidence. Hebrews 11:1-2>. <Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1>. Amen Amen This is the word of Amen.

What is faith? What do we believe in? I thought about the problem. What was the life of the seniors who lived with such beliefs today? We would like to share grace while meditating on

2. Faith The life of believers shown in Hebrews 11

The most used word in Hebrews 11, which is famous for faith, is the word <By faith>, <By faith Abel...>, <Enoch by faith...>, <By faith Rahab a prostitute...> It dramatically enumerates the historical characteristics of the lives of seniors of faith who lived by faith over 20 episodes.

And then the writer of Hebrews tells the lives of all these great believers,

“By faith we conquered kingdoms, did righteousness, received promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness we became strong, became valiant in war, and encamped among the nations. Others were tortured and scourged and tried not only with scourgings and scourgings, but also with bondage and imprisonment, and being stoned and sawing, temptation, and death by the sword, and wandering in sheep's and goat's skins, suffering privations, afflictions, and oppression; they wandered in the wilderness and in the mountains, in the dark caves and in the crypts. Hebrews 11:33-37> I did.

3. The world is not worthy of such a person.

How deeply moved are you when the writer of Hebrews reads the history of the people of faith listed above? And how much courage and insight do you gain? It is because their lives were truly beyond what this world could afford.

<This world is not worthy of such a person!> I sincerely Amen!.

4. One belief, but different results

The life of a believer as shown in the text is diverse. Sometimes they win wars, sometimes they become strong when they are weak, they close the mouths of lions, they go back and forth in the wilderness, in the mountains, and in the crypts. But in the midst of all their diverse lives, there is one thing that stands like a pillar of unshakable brass. <One Lord, one faith, one baptism> Ephesians 4:5. Each person of faith has a different pattern of life depending on the age, personality, and circumstances, but in all of them, one <faith> is clearly ingrained in their hearts.

5. The relationship between life and faith

Life and faith are not separate. There is no dynamics in a life without faith. A life without faith is itself dead. As it is said, <If you do not believe, you will certainly not be established.> Isaiah 7:9. Life is to stand firm by faith.

6. Closing story

I believe that our Heavenly Father will do three things in my life.

first. Faith that God is the power of my life, whom shall I fear.

second. Belief that you build the Word Spring Water Church beautifully with the vision of 1270.

third. Belief that God works wonderfully through the spring of the Word

I sincerely want to become a person that the world cannot afford. Hallelujah!
