Title: People who build houses
Contents
Jude 1:17-21 397
The author of the book of Jude was Judas, the younger brother of Jesus. Judas was the leader of the early church and an evangelist.
Judas, the younger brother of Jesus, did not believe in Jesus at first, but later changed to believing in Jesus and became a church leader and evangelist.
Today's text is Jude 1:20-23.
“Beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life. Have mercy on those who doubt, and fire on others. Bring him out and save him. Hate a man even his clothes that have been defiled with his flesh, but have mercy on him with fear.”
Text “Build yourselves on your most holy faith”
In order to build faith, that is, to build it, it is very important where you first establish a foundation.
1 Corinthians 3:11 records the words of the ground.
“No one is able to lay any other foundation except this one, which is Jesus Christ.”
We must build ourselves on the foundation of Jesus Christ by faith.
Then, if you build yourself on the foundation of faith, you have to build a house. To build a house, you must first repent of our sins and pray with the Holy Spirit.
When we do this, we can build holy faith while keeping ourselves in God's love. Keep in mind that evil spirits are always at work on those who receive grace and repent while praying, that is, the saints whom God loves.
Just as in our country, the last Yeonpyeong Island bombardment incident made the defense posture better than before, the life of a believer is the same as the Yeonpyeong Island incident.
Ephesians 6:10-11 says, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, and put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist the wiles of the devil.”
Give me one handout.
We must put on the power of strength that the Lord gives us, that is, put on the full armor of God, and resist the tricks of the devil.
Next is the faith of waiting to reach eternal life.
(James 5:7) “Be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient, waiting for the early and the latter rain.”
This eternal life is our ultimate purpose.
If you are off the road, you must change direction quickly.
I hope you can diagnose it through the words of the Bible.
Even though I have faith, if, in the light of the Word, I think it is a dead faith, I wish you the blessing of having a living faith.
When he was bitten by a fiery serpent in the wilderness, the obedient man who looked at the bronze serpent did not lose his life.
I prayed diligently, but looking back, if I have only prayed for myself and for my own good, I hope you will pray for the kingdom of God and righteousness from now on.
I pray that your earnest aspirations will be purely directed to the Lord.
If it doesn't start from the right and pure motive of faith (faith that loves the Lord), even if it is accomplished, it becomes a snare for me, and eventually I get caught up in my ankles and fall into the abyss.
Beloved children of God!
I've built a house so far, but when I look back at the house I've worked hard to build, it's not too late if you say you've built an empty house that is consistent with pretense, resentment, and complaints. I hope that you will become the owner of mature character and faith in the Lord who builds a house of pure gratitude and peace with sincerity.
The Lord knows everything. How should we live to the Lord who knows everything about me and your hearts, thoughts, centers, past and present?
I pray that Saehan's family and everyone who reads this article from all over the world (five oceans and six continents) will become saints recognized as one united to God like David.
