Title: People who live by mission (2) Text: Acts 20:17-24

We were created for a mission. God is still at work in this world, and He wants us to work with Him. This is called a mission. What is your mission? As I said last time, the mission is derived from ‘send’. Being a Christian involves being sent to earth on behalf of Jesus Christ. John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” To live for our mission, we must forsake our goals and accept God's plan for our lives. Like Jesus, we must live by confessing, “Not my will, but your will.” We must yield to Him all our rights, expectations, dreams, plans, and ambitions. We need to stop praying selfishly, 'God, please help me do what I do' and pray, 'Help me do what pleases God.' We have to hand out the white blank paper of my life with my name on it and tell God to write God's plan on it.

1. Those who live on a mission live because of the Lord.

2. Those who live by mission love the church.

3. Those who live by mission love the soul.

Acts 20:21 Paul demanded repentance and faith from both Jews and Greeks. In order for a person to receive forgiveness of sins and to be saved, the first thing a person must do is repent of turning away from God and coming to God. And those who repent will have faith and believe in Jesus Christ to receive the grace of salvation. Those who live on this mission are those who love their souls and testify of Jesus Christ to them, wishing them to be saved, regardless of who they are.

4. Those who live on a mission do not walk, but run.

Acts 20:24-25 The apostle Paul says that he has come running. It's not that he didn't walk. that it was running. Why? did you run I ran because I was in a hurry. I ran because I didn't have time. I came running because I was desperate for my mission. He came because his work was so precious and precious. There was not much time to save souls, so he ran without hesitation or hesitation. People are dying, can you walk slowly? Time is running out, can you walk slowly? The missionary does not walk.
