Title: People with a Future

When you are young, it is the most hopeful to have a future above all. The age of youth is a really good time, a time of youth and dreams. He gives the people of Israel today Canaan as a reality. coming to this reality.

A person with a future always has a higher will. Joseph always lived with a higher will than his 11 brothers. David always lived with a higher will than his 7 brothers. Jacob always lived with a higher will than Esau. Abraham received a promise from God for life and for the future of mankind. Jacob risked his life while praying on the Jabbok River ferry and received the name of Israel as a gift. Joseph received a dream from God to become the prime minister of Egypt.

A person who has a future is someone who gets up and moves forward without being caught up in the past. The losers are people who are caught up in the past. The things that went well are the past for him. Those who drove Israel into failure are immediately dark when tribulation or problems arise. They were obsessed with the past, longing for the past as if it were hope.

Those who have a future are not afraid. The text tells us not to be afraid again and again, but to be strong and courageous. The road towards our dreams is not an easy road at all. The road toward our promises is fraught with dangers. But he tells us not to be afraid.

A young man with a future has nothing to do with age. Of course, there will be differences in dreams, and the contents of dreams may be different, but the dream in the text refers to a holy dream, and that dream is a dream with God's promise. People are young people, and people without dreams are old people. Dreams make people young and make the future alive.

The future of the saints, the dream of the saints, is the promised land of God. Only for the sake of God's promised land of Canaan, Israel has lived a history of great suffering. Their dreams are neither Egypt nor the wilderness. It is neither a city-state nor a fertile and livable place. Their dream is that their country is the land of Canaan that God promised to their ancestors. That land is the Promised Land. Let's run towards the earth. We are people who have a future no matter how old we are, sick or failing.
