Title: People with God/Joshua 1:1~9
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' servant, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead, and now you rise up with all these people.
Cross this Jordan and go to the land that I am giving to them, to the children of Israel.
3 As I said to Moses, I have given you all the places where the soles of your feet tread.
4 And all the land of the Hittites, from the wilderness and this Lebanon to the great river Euphrates,
And on the part of the setting sun, until the Great Sea
5 No one will be able to withstand you all the days of your life, just as I was with Moses.
I will be with you; I will not leave you nor forsake you.
6 Be strong, be courageous
You will make this people inherit the land that I swore to their fathers.
7 But be strong and extremely courageous,
Keep and do all the law that Moses my servant commanded you; do not turn to the left or to the right.
Then you will prosper wherever you go.
8 Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night.
Be careful to do all that is written in them, and your way will be smooth, and you will prosper
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous
Don't be afraid and don't be surprised wherever you go
The LORD your God is with you.”
