Title: Perfect Faith

full faith
James 1:2-4 ‘2. Count it all joy, my brethren, when you face trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the trial of your faith produces perseverance. so that there will be no '- Amen.
There are many different types of beliefs, from martyrism to mysticism to humanism to pluralism. These days, we use the words “positive, positive faith” or “big faith”. So, faith is explained in many ways, but what is perfect faith?
We would like to hear the process of perfect faith under the theme of <Perfect Faith>.
1. Trust
To trust a person or thing, you first listen to information about it and decide whether you can trust it or not. Even when you say you believe in Jesus, you must first hear the information about Jesus and then say that you believe the information.
Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? In general, first faith is full of joy. It is a joy to be trusted.
James 1:2 “Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you face various trials.”
When you hear the gospel and trust it, you now have the ability to face all the worldly things that seem difficult with joy. The problem is that this is not the end of faith.
Even though Peter confessed the Lord as his Savior (Matthew 16:16), the act of betraying the Lord followed. In the conversation between the Lord and Martha when Lazarus died (John 11:21-27), Martha said that she believed in Jesus as the Savior and received eternal life, and that He is a God who will answer anything you ask for.
Even so, I see that you do not believe that miracles will happen if you believe right now. This phenomenon also applies to us. It's like saying that you can ride a rope with a child on it's back after tying a rope this way and that side to Niagara Falls (the Indians call it niagar, the water that makes the thunder), and everyone claps I believed it was possible.
But when I asked if there was anyone to take care of the child, no one offered it. So is belief. Amen, amen, and applause, but in reality, if you say give it up or be faithful, it's not the same as a confession to put into practice. Therefore, it is concluded that confession is not all about faith.
2. Trials
The Christian faith does not make everything new overnight. Like the parable of sowing seeds in the Bible, true faith requires a process of planting, growing, and bearing fruit.
James 1:3 “For you know that the trial of your faith produces perseverance.”
The 2,000-year history of Christianity in the process of taking root in the world has led to the shedding of blood of tribulation, persecution, and martyrdom after the blood of the Lord Jesus was nailed to the cross.
In order for the truth to be fully realized to the individual, to borrow the Chinese medical term for such a change of secular constitution, like the Myunghyeon reaction (瞑眩, various unexpected reactions after taking medication), suffering from the spiritual and physical begins from the moment you believe in Jesus.
We call this persecution, tribulation, or the life of the cross. If there is no such reaction, would it mean that the contents of the gospel, the New Testament, and the Old Testament drugs are not effective?
John 15:19 “If you were of the world, the world would love its own, but the world hates you because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world.”
3. Faith without lack
James 1:4 “Persevere in patience, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
Trying to make sure there is no shortage here means not in quantity but in quality. We are usually bound by our physical eyes and emotions to satisfy ourselves when we are filled quantitatively.
Nevertheless, the word poverty is coined in abundance. Life is different from animals, so if the state of the soul is hungry, it is not enough to fill it with anything.
Therefore, we must fill it with the Lord of life and fill it with the faith that God gives us, so that we can be filled with gratitude and satisfaction, which is thought to be lacking even if there is nothing outside.
In the end, if your faith takes root deep in your bones through perseverance through the process of trials, you will become a person of truth physically and have the power to overcome the spiritual and worldly philosophies. It is also effective to eat meat to gain physical strength.
In the end, the full supply of the spiritual word and the Holy Spirit is crucial in order to produce spiritual strength. Occasionally, when someone who said, 'The believer's faith is very good,' makes an impossible mistake, I find myself baffled by the way I look at it.
Why? It is because they do not discern what true faith and perfect faith are. We all believe and confess. These days, without the public, how well do you say Amen, but when a crisis strikes, you can't say Amen carelessly.
Confession is important so that this does not happen, but I believe that if you look to the Lord and follow the Lord's loneliness and pain well and endure and go out, you will become a true believer who is alive and embodied.
