Title: Perfect Your Patience (Bible: James 1:2-4)
“Rejoice, brethren, even when you are subjected to various trials. Know that the trial of your faith produces patience.
Therefore, endure to the end and become a perfect and mature person who lacks nothing.”
Life's journey is a process of training patience. The wish of children to become adults quickly is probably a thought that everyone has at least once. But we had to wait. All the things a person wishes and wishes for requires patience of waiting.
There were times when we had no choice but to go through the tunnel of pain while eating the bread of tears. Life is a time of patience to endure many hours of boredom and pain of waiting. A person without patience is bound to spend much of their life in irritability, anxiety, frustration, anger, and resentment. The degree of patience can be said to be a measure of the maturity of a character. The text above says, "If you endure to the end, you will become a perfect and mature person who has no lack." If we think of the opposite of this verse, we can say, "The person who cannot endure it is an immature person, a person who has a personality full of flaws." A person who has no patience is a fussy person. He is an anxious and anxious person. He's an angry person. He's a frivolous person who doesn't listen closely and is busy talking about himself.
Keep in mind the wisdom of Proverbs. "Do you see a man who is impatient with his language? There is more hope for a fool than him" (29:30).
“He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is impatient in spirit shows folly.” (14:29) “The plans of the diligent lead to abundance, but the hasty leads to poverty” (21:5). )
God wants the person of the saints to reach the 'measure of the fullness of Christ' (Ephesians 4:13). Through the sufferings of the cross, Christ endured the judgment of man's sin and set the example of atonement and love that invites him to eternal life. It is said that love is long-suffering. That love that is not provoked and endures all things and endures all things is love. That love is the endurance of the cross.
Jesus told his disciples, 'Take up your cross daily and follow me.' A believer is a person who strives to achieve the endurance of the cross of Christ in their lives.
Just as Job, who has lived a faithful life before God, suffers unknown causes, the saints sometimes fall into trials.
In such a case, the believer should have the attitude of faith to know the cause of temptation and who is responsible for this temptation. Sometimes, long silence about our prayers, so that God does not release the test quickly, and passes through frustrating and painful times is the saint's
He wants you to reach perfection in your patience.
Patience makes pearls of hope. [Romans 5:4]
A torn wound in the pearl shell creates a pearl.
Because he was enduring the pain. `
The twelve gates of the kingdom of heaven are each made of one giant pearl' (Rev 21:21/Present Translation), which is very meaningful.
It means that it was made through the patience of Jesus Christ and the patience of the saints. Whoever enters the kingdom of heaven through these twelve gates
They are believers who have endured various worldly sufferings to keep their faith by obeying God's Word.
If you receive the word and do not keep it with patience, you will inherit this promise.
You cannot receive it. (Hebrews 10:36)
Jesus wanted the saints to be “those who hear the word, keep it, and bear fruit with patience” (Luke 8:15), and he said, “Patience will win your souls” (Luke 21:18).
Become a saint loved by the Lord through perseverance, and through faith in the world
I hope you win.
