Title: Perfect Your Perseverance (James 1:2-4)
What are you guys? Perseverance is called perseverance. As there is a proverb that says, “If there are three kind of people who endure, even death will be avoided.” There is a saying. It is an old idiom used to describe a case that is very difficult to solve because it is crooked, meaning “You cannot appreciate a sharp knife unless you hit it with its twisted, sinuous roots and twisted joints.” So are people. The truth is that you can only know the true nature of a person only when they experience difficult things such as anti-semitism. A person can experience meaningful pain in life, and it is a matter of how to accept that pain. If you think deeply about these words, it is a story that there is no life without trials. The problem is, how beautiful that pain is depends on how you endure the test and endure it to the end.
So the Bible speaks to us believers. Speaking of perseverance, if you meet even these tests, you should rather be happy. Why? Because perseverance is a valuable condition that makes our life full of lack.
We too must now learn to be patient and patient. But we must learn in faith, in faith. In particular, you must have the faith to persevere no matter what trials and pains come. Patience without faith is suffering. Patience without hope is despair. In the end, faith and hope, when these things are in them, can be endured to a full extent.
Today's Bible speaks of the wisdom of perseverance. As you read the Word, think about how you will be patient and patient.
First you need to think about the cause of the ordeal. And you should know that the cause lies with you. While treating many psychopaths, he asked, “Why did I get a mental illness? How else can a psychopath get better? There is a lot to learn from listening to famous doctors who sum up their experiences and knowledge on these issues: “Where does treatment begin?” When I admit that the first and most important thing in treating mental illness is that I am responsible, from then on, 50% of the disease is already cured. As long as I blame others, that the cause of my unhappiness lies in the world, I will never get better. You get sick from thinking that the cause of your unhappiness is somewhere other than yourself. You get sick because you feel sad and upset. However, from the moment you think, “This is the reality, this is my own problem,” treatment begins already. But it takes such a difficult time to tell them and to convince them. Are you in pain? Do you have any pain? This is my problem. And this is the reality I have to overcome. The cause of the problem is mine. You will have to know it, be patient and persevere and overcome it.
Then he said it was important to know that this trial was beneficial. There are trials, but to deal with them positively, develop through these trials and pains, and through this, I will live as a human on a new orbit. Recognizing that you will be born again with a new spirit. It is said that healing is possible when you do not immerse yourself in the difficulties you are facing now, but look at reality objectively and balance your mind. It is important to know that God does not allow a person to die whenever a person is in trouble. It may be a little embarrassing and difficult to accept at first. But I can persevere only if I have the hope that this ordeal will surely work for me.
There was a very humble king in India who bowed his head to everyone. All the people respected such a king. However, one of the servants said it was not appropriate for the king to bow his head excessively, and said, “Lord, you are the most supreme in this country. The head is the most precious part of the body, and moreover, he is the king. You must not bow your head to anyone recklessly.” After the king listened to all the words of his servants, he gave them a cat skull, a horse skull, and a human skull, and told them to go to the market and sell them. People bought cat skulls to keep mice away from hanging them, and horse skulls to keep them from getting sick. However, no one bought a human skull, so they just brought it back. The king said to the servant, “A human head is precious when it contains kindness, righteousness, and wisdom. An empty skull with nothing is inferior to that of a cat or a horse.”
Dear saints!
What test lies before you? I hope that you will be filled with grace that accepts, overcomes, and perseveres by turning it into a trial rather than a test. What pain is pressing on your chest? That pain has meaning. I want you to know that, so I hope that your head will be filled with thoughts that depend on God, so that you will become believers who perfect your patience.
