Peter's Wail

There is a saying that there is neither blood nor tears. It refers to a person who is emotionally dry. This world is a world where we cannot live without crying. I cry for my husband, I cry for my wife. They cry for their children because of their parents. Losing and crying, losing unfairly and crying because of sadness. Esau lost his birthright to his younger brother and wept. Jesus wept looking forward to the future of Jerusalem. “Peter’s Weeping” made the criminal a great man.
The chicken croaked to confirm its existence.
When Peter heard a rooster crow, he knew who he was. He did not know himself, but heard the crowing of a chicken and discovered his identity.
There was a man who worked as the president of a large corporation and retired with honor at old age. The day I retired, I suddenly thought of my wife. I raised my children well, and thanks to my husband's support, I was able to live a successful life and retire with honor, so I decided to live for my wife from now on. I would travel with my wife, go to a department store together, eat out, and even go to a church I had never been to, so I nodded and fell asleep. Men who have confirmed their existence only through social status throughout their lives, what is life? You have to think again. Loss of social status is a death sentence for those who have never been identified in their relationships with their wives and family.
When he tries to confirm his existence with his wife belatedly, the wives are confused. A wife got used to a life where her husband did not go to work as his wife did. One day, my husband suddenly appears and is next to me, which makes it awkward and annoying.
Jesus said to his disciples. When the time comes, you all will forsake me.” Peter said, “Even if I forsake them all, I will not” (Mark 14:29). But when Jesus was arrested, Peter collapsed in vain. All the disciples abandoned Jesus and ran away. Feeling threatened, he denied knowing Jesus.
After that happened, I heard a cock crowing. “He cursed and swore, saying, “I do not know the man.” Immediately a rooster crowed” (verse 74). The chicken crowed! that means it's over. He learned that he was a human being. For Peter, the crowing of a rooster is a wake-up call that signals the turning point between night and dawn.
The sound of a cock crow reminded me of Jesus' words.
“So Peter remembered what Jesus had said, Before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times” (verse 75).
What reminds a person? is to see When King David saw the woman bathing, he thought of sleeping with her. I remember hearing it. When Peter heard the crowing of a rooster, he remembered what Jesus had said.
A slave girl saw Peter and said, “You were also with Jesus the Galilean. “I do not know what you are talking about.” Another servant girl said, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth. So Peter took an oath, saying, “I do not know the man.” After a while, those standing by came up to him and said to Peter, “Truly, you too are a cult; your voice speaks to you. He cursed and swore, saying, "I do not know the man." The rooster crowed. After the rooster crows, I remembered the words of Jesus that before the rooster crow, you will deny me three times.
In the book The Birth of Thoughts, the topic of rethinking thoughts comes up. It is about changing what you think to how you think. Above all, if you think well, then everything will work out.
Wrong thinking leads to wrong direction, wrong direction leads to wrong outcome. The difference between people is the difference in thinking. Thoughts are your property. “Just thinking of Jesus makes me feel good… … .”
Hebrews 3:1 says, “Therefore, holy brethren who are together in the heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of the doctrine in which we believe.” Think deeply of Jesus. Jesus makes you think. If you learn the art of thinking with Jesus, you will have thoughts that no one else can match.
It is said that Jews teach their children to fish so that they catch fish. God teaches us to think. He makes those who have only shallow thoughts think of great ideas. It transforms the mind from the flesh to the mind from the negative thoughts to the positive thoughts. “Rejoice in the days of prosperity, and think in the days of trouble.”
Joseph had been betrothed to Mary and was awaiting marriage when he found out that Mary was pregnant. He wanted to hang up. As he was thinking about it, an angel of the Lord appeared and told him not to be afraid to bring Mary, and told him that she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:20-21). If it weren't for the man Joseph thought, he would not have been able to become Mary's husband.
“The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom my Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:26). Whenever you eat samgyetang in the summer, think of Peter and meditate on the word of the Lord.
The words of Jesus made us weep.
Hearing the crowing of a rooster, he remembered what Jesus had said, and the words of Jesus made him weep. Wailing is the birthplace of a new life. Sweat, blood and tears are the three major liquids in life. You have to sweat to eat. We are saved by the shedding of Jesus' blood. Without the shedding of blood, there is no apology. Only through tears can the window of the soul open and a rainbow of hope rises.
Crying is an extreme language that pops out when you are thrilled. After crying, my heart and my head feel refreshed. After tears, there is a sense of pleasure. It is said that even the gates of heaven that cannot be opened through prayer will be opened with tears.
Hannah obtained Samuel through wailing prayer (1 Samuel 1:10). Pour out your heart to God. Like Hannah, being “through your heart” with God is wailing prayer.
Peter's weeping is not the tears of a woman who shed easily, but the tears of a man who cannot easily cry. Peter repented with weeping and tears and washed away his past mistakes. God has washed away our sins with the blood of Christ, and we are assured of the forgiveness of sins through the tears of repentance.
Sweat rewards life, and tears comfort life. Without sweat, we cannot escape poverty, and without tears we cannot become holy.
Peter's weeping was a declaration of self-defeat. Fail first. First of all, cry. And then it succeeds. It is crying that defeats my defeat.
Jesus tells us to weep. As Jesus was being led to the execution room, He said to the women who followed, beating their breasts and weeping, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for me, but weep for you and your children” (Luke 23:27-28).
“Blessed is he who is hungry now, for you will be satisfied; blessed is he who weeps now, for you will laugh” (Luke 6:21).
Peter wept. “...and went out and wept bitterly” (verse 75b). A true believer is one who has crossed the River of Weeping. True faith is tearful faith. A church without weeping is not a church. Peter's weeping made him a spiritual being. Weeping comes only when we feel full of sin. The night of labor and suffering passes, the dawn of dissolution comes, and the morning of new life comes.
“Though weeping lasts in the evening, there is joy in the morning” (Psalm 30:5) The first work began at night. “And there was evening and there was morning, the second day” (Genesis 1:8).
European churches are replacing the cross of the Korean church by making a chicken shape on the bell tower. Because the crowing of a rooster woke Peter up. Cry first! And then you laugh. True laughter comes after crying. After you have washed your mind with weeping, you will laugh. we must cry From Wail to Wail From Wailing to Wail Enter the passage of blessing. When a rooster crows, it means that everything is over. It was a manipulative (弔鐘) that announced the failure of the human Peter. The crowing of a chicken heard by Peter confirmed the existence of the human Peter. He confirmed how much it cost.
Hearing the crowing of a rooster, I remembered the word of the Lord. He denied Jesus three times. “Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven” (Matthew 10:32) I hope that you will confess God everywhere and always and live to become an evangelist.
