“Pine trees are green when plucked before they die, and lilies are fragrant when plucked before they wither.”
The principle of impossibility (不可入性) refers to the principle that if you put the bottle upside down and put it in the water, water will never get into the bottle. Just as water cannot go into a bottle because of the air in the bottle even though it is invisible, so the things of the world cannot enter us if our faith is invisible but we are filled with the Spirit of God.
From the moment we come to church and believe in Jesus, we are no longer of the world. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own, but the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world” (John 19:20). We live by eating, dressing, and living, but we must not like the customs of the world. Evangelism is preaching the truth to those who are bound by the world. In order to keep and evangelize the truth of this gospel, we must live with the spirit of daily preparedness. “I have nothing to boast about except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Galatians 6:14). We must live by the power of the cross that is within us. Don't be bound by the world.
Jesus humbled himself. While teaching the truth of the gospel, He was criticized, beaten, and finally hung on a cross to die. But in the Garden of Gethsemane, he humbled himself and prayed until his sweat became drops of blood, so he rose again and ascended to heaven, becoming the Lord of our life and the King of kings who will come again.
You must humble yourself to become a valuable minister. “If anyone speaks, let it be as if he were speaking the word of God, and if anyone would serve, let him do it by the power that God supplies” (1 Peter 4:11). should be used for
Although Jesus taught and healed many people, what he returned was contempt and disdain. But even when Jesus died on the cross, He did not make excuses or complain. The apostle Paul also suffered constant persecution. You don't know how much he suffered because of those who opposed him. However, he proudly preached the gospel even to the moment of his death.
Christians must be prepared to be persecuted for the sake of Jesus and the gospel. We win when we preach the gospel with a spirit of determination.
On May 1, 1963, Nepalese officials questioned climbers trying to conquer Mount Everest.
“Can you climb to the top of the mountain?” Then I gave almost the same answer.
“I will do my best.” But a young man named Jim Whitaker said, “I will climb to the top.” In the end, only this young man succeeded. Standing at a height of 8848 meters, he became the first American to successfully climb Everest. If you live with a single resolution, you will surely win.
