Title: Philippians 04:13 All things are possible

Contents

All things are possible (Philippians 4:13)

The church should be the center of building confidence

Belief is the power of man himself. No matter how great the beliefs are, they cannot go beyond the limits of their power. Life is like “a wall that shakes” and “a mist that appears for a moment and then disappears.” Humans cannot stand beyond their own strength. In our country, 30 people commit suicide every day because they don't have the strength to sustain themselves anymore. But faith is a divine power that comes from God.

Joy is power. Even things that shouldn't be pleasing will be accomplished. “Rejoice in the Lord always, I say again, rejoice.” In Philippians, “rejoice” is repeated 17 times and “in the Lord” is repeated 8 times. If the object of joy is worldly, realistic, money, fame, or power, when it disappears, joy disappears. But joy through the Lord is all-weather so you can always rejoice. “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). “No other creature will be able to separate us... from the love of God” (Romans 8:39). “We are more than conquerors” (Romans 8:37). The power that rejoices in the Lord overcomes even the forces of Satan and overcomes everything. David always rejoiced and praised God, not on God's side (Psalm 118:6-9). . Set a goal and invest time and energy.

“I am chasing after the mark for the reward of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:14) “A people who have flags to wave, signs to run with us, leaders to follow, songs to sing with us” (Philippians 3:14) I am happy,” I remember the president of an American university. The goal is the future. If you don't just look at reality, but look to the next generation and invest your best, you can do anything. In 1867, at a Russian proposal, the United States bought Alaska for only $7.2 million. Congress did not want to buy the icy land, but then Treasury Secretary William Seward said, “Gentlemen, I am not buying a snowy Alaska, I am buying the treasure hidden in it, not for myself, but for the next generation. . ” and eventually congressional approval. As a result, it has become the largest and most precious land in the United States, as well as underground gold mines, silver mines, natural cutlets, and sea resources. The state of Alaska distributes the surplus money to residents at the end of each year. You have to invest for the future and run towards the goal.

IV. Pray (Philippians 4:6-7)

Prayer is the storehouse of God's power. In other words, it is the channel of heaven. When that channel is opened, all kinds of blessings pour in. “God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). If you pray like Hannah, you will get a son who changes the world of darkness into a world of light, and if you pray even if you are sick, you will receive a 15-year bonus life like Hezekiah. Jesus set the example of morning prayer, all-night prayer, and fasting prayer. And you promised. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened” (Matthew 7:7).

The religion of the Word receives the Bible as the Word of the living God. “I can do all things through him who strengthens me”. Amen □ Sermon notes

Preaching is a service to the Word of God itself. It is also a direct service to Jesus Christ and a service to feed God's people.
