Title: A person of positivity Text: Numbers 14:1-10
1. A positive person is someone who seeks God's thoughts rather than their own.
Numbers 14:8 Now, Joshua and Caleb put the core of problem solving on God. If God is pleased, nothing is impossible. However, no matter how much people like it, it is impossible if God is not pleased. A positive person always lives according to God's heart. A person of positivity is a person who lives by focusing everything on God. A person of positivity always seeks God's will and lives in harmony with God's thoughts. Here, ‘if he pleases’ means ‘if he pleases’. It means that if God is pleased, there is nothing that cannot be accomplished.
2. A positive person does not disobey God.
Numbers 14:9 Joshua and Caleb tried not to disobey God's will. To disobey God is to disobey God's blessings. These positive people don't say no, can't, can't. This is against the word of God. To disobey God is to stand in the place of failure, in the place of misfortune, and in the place of losing everything. You must know that disobeying God is not believing in God Himself, not believing in God's promises, and rejecting God's will. God has promised to give the land of Canaan to the Israelites. However, it is an act of distrusting God that you are disobeying God because you have a little difficulty or that something you see is difficult. To disobey God is to choose the path of death. You choose the path of failure and fame for yourself.
3. A person of positivity is not afraid of the people of the earth.
Numbers 14:9 Positive people, people of faith, are not afraid of what to fear, not what they are not afraid of. I am not particularly afraid of people of unbelief. I am not afraid of those who do not live in the Word. In today's text, Joshua and Caleb are telling the Israelites not to be afraid of the Canaanites. The only thing we really need to fear is God. David confessed this: Psalm 3:6 “Thousands encamp around me, but I will not be afraid.” David was not afraid of men. I only feared God. So he was always able to lead a positive life. Even through the valley of the shadow of death, he was not afraid. Because he was a positive person who believed that the Lord was with him.
4. Positive people are those who believe that God is with us.
Numbers 14:9 Positive people never forget that God is with them anytime, anywhere. We believe, feel, experience, and walk with God, believing, feeling, experiencing, and walking with God at all times, even in times of peace, unhappiness, hardship, and prosperity. Positive people are those who do not forget that God is an amazing co-worker always by our side. A positive person is a person who confirms that God is with me now rather than complaining that it is not. A person of positivity is someone who confirms whether or not I firmly believe in God's power now rather than thinking that there are many problems.
