Title: Positive words/Matthew 13:44-46

content positive words

□Text: Matthew 13:44-46

"Don't talk like that. Your life is at stake.

The child is sleeping."

It's not difficult to talk positively, so sometimes the thought of doing something moderately comes rushing in without even thinking about it. Moreover, when people all around me who say "I can't see any buds of hope" here and there, I don't have the courage to say "I can do it" or "I can do it". Of course, it is futile to say that we are arrogant based on vague beliefs, but the courage to spread our convictions about what is right is always valuable. We should not be afraid to speak positively.

Jesus always said "yes" and "can do" when everyone raises their voices to say "no". Indeed, the language of Jesus was the language of affirmation.

One evening Peter put the boat ashore. Peter caught nothing. He said, "There is no meat tonight, no luck," but a non-fisherman, a carpenter's son, and a man who does not know meat are making an offer. "Throw your nets, for there are many fish." It's absurd and stupid. But when the net was cast and lifted, it was full of fish.

Jesus' company was with the crowd. while proclaiming the kingdom of God to them. The day is going down..."There is nothing to eat". It was the disciple's words. Then he said: "No food? No, there is."

Then he asked, "Does anyone have anything to eat?" A little boy gives his own in his arms. "Yeah, a little bit here." A few slices of bread, two pieces of fish. "Look, do you have something to eat?" He broke the bread. Everyone shared and had leftovers.

A man named Jairus came to him and said, "My daughter is dead. The child's neck has been cut off forever. It has ended in vain." But he said. "Don't talk like that. Life is on the line. The child is sleeping." And he proved it before a mourning crowd. After a while, Jairus' daughter, Ai, was sitting at the table with a glass of milk.

Jesus is “yes” and “amen” itself. He is the one who says "yes" and "amen." Everyone says this. "Nothing. There is no life. There is nothing to drink. It cannot be seen or heard. It does not grow. There is no hope."

But Jesus says. "Yes, there is. There is life. There is food and drink. I see. I hear. It is growing. There is hope."

He Himself told all kinds of stories to prove all this. He spoke of pearls hidden in fields, of life hidden in seeds, of how small seeds grow into giant trees, of lamps covered with barrels. Who would have thought it contained pearls? It was a land that was said to be "a dreary land, a devastating land overgrown with weeds". But who knew there were pearls buried there? Jesus looks at the pearls in the desolate land. Even if it is not pearls, it may be the sweat of a poor farmer. In rough land, "farmer's sweat" is a pearl.

Who would have known? That a grain so small would become a large tree, large enough for birds to nest. In fact, it doesn't matter if they're big or small, but they don't pay attention to things that are small or unattractive. It is because they have eyes that are accustomed to many and large things. But look. Without anyone knowing, without paying attention, how big a tree it became. The tree will become Aram, green forest, and life, but people are blind and cannot see it.

Desperate for themselves, the disciples of Jesus hid helplessly in the attic, fearful and terrified, restless and helpless. "It's over. It's over like that." But that wasn't the end of the story. When they opened themselves up, the liberating Holy Spirit took them captive. Suddenly, something deep inside my heart gained confidence, and I realized that it wasn't "no" but "yes", and I realized that the unimaginable possibilities, the true grains, the true life, and the living breath, lie in their Alpe. They thought it was a finished yard. I thought everything was over. However, in the middle of the finished yard, he threw out the affirmative words of “yes”. He said that the end is the point of the beginning. This means that we need to build up the courage to start without hesitation. Only then could the disciples begin the work of liberation. They did not abandon the belief that they could. They went out into the world in hope, breaking bread, celebrating true liberation, and praying for a better world. "Yes" came alive in their lives.

It is still not easy for us to say “yes”. It's easier to give up, and easier to say, "Aww, that's wrong." But today, Jesus teaches us again, “It is possible, it is possible.” Even if it's a tantrum, we have to learn it. In today's world, which tends to become grayish, let's engrave the reasons for saying, "But yes, we can."
