1. Hallelujah, blessed is he who fears the Lord and greatly delights in his commandments.
2. His descendants are strong on the earth; blessed are the descendants of the upright.
3. Riches and riches are in his house; his justice will stand forever.
4. Light arises out of darkness to the upright; he is merciful and merciful and righteous.
5. It prospers with the one who lends graciously, and he will do his work with justice.
6. He will never be shaken; the righteous will be remembered forever.
7. He is not afraid of evil gossip; he trusts in the LORD, and his heart is set.
8. His heart is steadfast, he will not fear; at last he will see the retribution of his enemies.
9. He has scattered wealth and given to the needy; his righteousness endures forever, and his horn is lifted up in glory.
10. When the wicked see this, they will grieve and be consumed with grinding their teeth, and the desires of the wicked will perish.

6. If you enlighten your brothers by this, you will become a good worker in Christ Jesus, and you will be nourished by the word of faith and the good teaching that you follow.
7. Throw away the profane and false myths, and train yourself toward godliness
8. Physical training has little benefit, but godliness is beneficial for all things, and there is a promise in this life and in the life to come
9. This word is faithful, and everyone deserves it.
10. For this we toil and labor, because we put our hope in the living God, the Savior of all men, especially those who believe.
11. You command and teach these things.
12. Let no one despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.
13. Dedicate yourself to reading, exhorting, and teaching until I get there.
14. Do not take lightly the gift that is within you, which you received through prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.
15. Do all this with all your heart, so that your maturity can be seen by everyone.
16. Continue this work, examining yourself and your teachings, and by doing these you will save yourself and those who hear you.

Title: Practice attaining godliness!
Text: Psalm 112:1-10, 1 Timothy 4:6-16
It means “but whatever we have reached, we will do it” (Philippians 3:16). This is the attitude to receive the ‘crown of righteousness’ that the righteous judge will give (2 Timothy 4:6-8). The tension of ‘already and yet’ does not mean the uncertainty of salvation. Because there is no doubt about the completion of the work that God has begun (Philippians 1:6). It is our reaction to God's faithfulness. It means 'only practicing to attain godliness'. ‘Piety’ (eusebeiya) is the respect and reverence that one should give to a God who is so faithful. 1) We reach godliness through prayer and almsgiving (Acts 10:2). 2) Reading, meditating, learning, understanding, and putting into practice the Word of God (Psalm 1:1-6; 2 Tim 3:14-17; Hebrews 5:13-14). 3) We do not delay training in godliness by continuing to suffer for the Lord (Romans 5:1-4). Not avoiding the cross.
Today's Old Testament text (Psalm 112:1-10) is a song about blessings from God. Of the blessings that continue from verses 1 to 10, there are only those that I do not want to miss. But those blessings are intertwined like weft and warp threads. There are words that correspond to the flying line. 'Those who fear the Lord and greatly delight in his commandments' (verse 1), 'the upright' (verse 2), 'the upright...the kind, merciful, and righteous' (verse 4), 'the gracious and lender' ...doing it justly' (v. 5), 'the righteous' (v. 6), 'trusting in the Lord, and making his heart firm' (v. 7), 'steadfast in heart and not afraid' (8). verse), 'scattering wealth and giving to the needy' (verse 9). Other conditions will depend on whether you “fear the Lord, and greatly delight in his commandments.” Good habits are the result of good training. Habit determines fate.
Lent has begun. It refers to 40 days of fasting from Holy Wednesday (February 17) to Easter Sunday (April 4). It is a training period while waiting for Easter Sunday, the biggest holiday in Christianity. It has gone through a lot of changes, and now we practice these exercises. 1) All human-centered festivals are prohibited 2) We strive to give charity. 3) Participate more in religious events than usual. 4) Use the guidance of the Holy Spirit as an opportunity to repent in your faith and life. In our church, special morning prayers are held from February 22 to the dawn of Easter Sunday. We have prepared a time to pray for the country, the church, and the family. Let's use this as an opportunity to share the grace and blessings of the Lord while recognizing and giving thanks for the changes in faith and life that we have already accomplished, and strengthening our necessary lives under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Only practice attaining godliness! Amen.
