Praise with thanksgiving
Psalm 100:3 4 2006, 11, 19. Thanksgiving Day Sermon
On this Thanksgiving Day, the abundant blessings our Lord gives to you, your family, and the whole church
I wish you all the best.
In the Word of God today, He said that we have become His own people.
Psalm 100:3-4 “Know ye that the Lord is our God; He is our Maker.
We are his, and we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”
We are your own people, and we have become the sheep of your pasture.
Therefore, “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise, giving thanks to him.
Blessed be his name."
You know that I have become God's own people and the sheep of his pasture,
thank you
David confessed that even in the midst of a dangerous, difficult, painful, and difficult life,
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,” he said.
David faced many dangers and sufferings in the midst of danger of being killed and starvation.
God is my shepherd, so there is nothing lacking.
That there is nothing to worry about.
David also thanked God for protecting his life.
‘Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.
Your rod and your staff comfort me.”
Thousands and millions of people died last night.
If our lives had ended last night, we would not have been able to offer this service of thanksgiving today.
is. I hope that we can thank God for extending our lives and protecting our lives so that we can celebrate Thanksgiving Sunday this year as well.
David also thanked the Lord that when the enemy came, you set a table in their sight, anointed my head with oil and made my cup overflow.
When it is good, I am grateful for it, and when it is not good, I am grateful that he will work together for good.
When our life on this earth is over, God has moved from here so that we can live in an eternal heaven where there will be no tears, sorrows, groanings, partings, weeping, or sickness. How reassuring is it?
In general, people do not appreciate God's grace.
Because we do not give thanks, God cannot give us greater grace and blessings.
Gratitude is a vessel through which we can receive greater blessings.
In Matthew 13:12, Jesus said, “Whoever has, receives, and has abundance; but whoever has not,
Even what he has will be taken away.”
If you give thanks for what you have, you will be given more.
However, if you do not see what you have and complain about what you do not have, you will lose even what you have.
A mean person repays his favor with his enemies, and an ordinary person breaks his heart even after receiving the favor.
But a truly wonderful person is one who repays grace with gratitude.
Therefore, we should always be grateful for what we have received in our lives.
You should always consider how you received grace and be grateful for it.
Looking back, there have been many times in our lives when we have been in the midst of discouragement,
There were times when I couldn't move on the slash of despair and lay on my face without raising my head.
There were times when I was so upset and my heart was aching.
But each time, God gave us new strength.
He comforted me, showed me a new hope, and made me live with a new vision.
God gave the Israelites a feast,
The meaning is to not forget the grace of God.
Humans are strangely forgetful creatures.
Oddly enough, I remember things that are annoying and painful, but I tend to forget the good things.
We are the grace that God has bestowed upon us, that is, to protect us, to guide us,
We must not forget the grace that protected us with eyes like flames.
Many people complain in the present life and find the conditions for resentment,
There is so much to be thankful for when we look at all our daily events with a grateful heart.
In an empty field, Jesus gave five barley loaves and two fish and gave thanks a lot for those insignificant and trivial things.
At that time, a miracle occurred, where even after more than 5,000 people ate, there were still 12 light glasses.
If you want to experience God's blessings and miracles, thank you greatly for the little things.
Let's follow.
"Don't complain about what you have lost and what you don't have, look at what you have and give thanks!
Let's be thankful for the little things we have!"
It was written by a doctor.
Why can't everyone be thankful, there is a father and there is a mother.
With two hands and two legs, you can go wherever you want with your feet,
You can reach out and grab anything. sound is heard voice comes out
What greater happiness could there be than that?
However, no one appreciates the obvious facts and smiles, saying 'it's natural'.
eat three meals a day When the night comes, you can sleep comfortably, and when the morning comes, you can breathe in the refreshing breeze.
You can laugh and cry, shout and then run.
Everything that can do that is taken for granted, and no one can appreciate such a wonderful thing.
The only people who know how to be grateful are those who have lost it.
That's right.
Only those who have lost a single finger can appreciate the remaining fingers.
Only those who have lost one leg can feel the gratitude of both legs.
Only those who have lost their health know the appreciation of health.
Only those who have lost their wealth will realize the true value and meaning of it.
Therefore, 'lost' and 'non-existence' make you feel and realize 'the meaning of being' and 'thanks for being'.
Today, more than those who have, I know how to feel and appreciate that there are those who have lost and those who have not.
I don't know when there is. I know it's normal.
But it must be gone.
We don't need much effort to complain.
It comes out so easily.
However, in order to say thanks or praise, you must make up your mind and put effort into your heart.
Today, let's think only of gratitude, say only words of thanks, decide to give thanks to our heart's content, practice, and work hard.
“Always rejoice. Pray without ceasing. thank you for everything
This is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”
