Title: Pray/Matthew 7:7
A poor woman living alone prayed earnestly to God for bread. The young men along the way heard how earnestly the woman prayed. The young men laughed and said to each other, “Throw bread through the window and see what we can do,” and then they did. This woman, who suddenly received the bread, said a prayer of thanks. Then the young men poked their faces at the window and shouted, "It's not from God, it's from us." But this woman was sullen and said, "You brought them, but God sent them here."
The Bible tells us to pray. The Bible tells us that we can get everything we need through prayer.
Through today's sermon, Jesus told us about the posture of prayer.
1. Save
Ask, and it will be given to you. We need a lot. Of course we can get what we need through our efforts. However, there are things in this world that we can achieve on our own, but there are many things that we cannot achieve on our own. Can you get all your needs on your own? We have limits in our power. It means there are limits to my abilities. Then we can pray. Then the One who surpasses our strength, the one who made all these things, hears our prayers. Today, when there are essential things that are indispensable to me, we pray as earnestly as we earnestly if we really desperately need them. Then our Lord speaks. "I'll give it to you." Do you guys need anything? I hope you save it. Our good God is a God who always gives you good things that are better than you want and ask for.
2. Find it.
Look for it and you will find it. We have a lot to lose. What have you lost? How much do we lose in our precious lives? However, many people live their lives without knowing what they have lost. It means that you have lost nothing of value to yourself.
3. Knock on the door,
Knock on the door, and it will be opened to you.
To knock on the door, where are we now That we are out the door now.
You don't know how many dangerous things are out there right now. We don't know how many dangerous things that threaten our souls that threaten us all around us. What about someone who is being chased? I'll knock on the door. And please help me. How desperate would you be to knock on that door to the person who shouts that if you don't open the door, what will happen to my life now?
How are we guys? Doesn't anyone seem to be chasing after something? Do you always feel anxious, unstable, and do not know what to do? It's like we're chasing someone. In that case, I hope you knock on the door. Please call on the Lord. Please help me, what will happen then? “It will be open.” Yes.
When we knock on the door to the Lord for help, He is the one who opens the door so that we can escape to safety in our lives. When our lives are in the Lord, our lives are safe. When we are in him, we are no longer anxious. Yes, because he protects us. Because he protects us.
Only then can we live with peace of mind when we are in Him.
dear ones
we hope you pray
Please save me. Then you get Hope you find it. Then find it. Please knock on the door. Then it will open. The Lord helps you.
So, I pray that all the necessary things in our lives will be filled with blessings in God who hears all our prayers.
