Title: Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-22)
Contents
① “Only the righteous (those who have received the grace of redemption and have been regenerated) will live by faith” (Romans 1:17) ② Faith is a connection with God. Although it is to accompany, the legal connection and union became the Lord's redemptive grace, and the practical connection and union is accomplished through prayer. ③ God comes through the Word and the Holy Spirit and pours out all kinds of grace both physically and spiritually through the word and inspiration, which fills me through the medium of prayer.
First. Prayer is the lifeline and blessing line.
① Life is connected and combined with God who is life. Death is separation from God. ② The actual connection with God is prayer, so those who do not have prayer, worship, service, and devotion without prayer support are all things that belong to death. ③ The lives of the saints are those who wear the wetsuit of faith in a world like the sea of sin and death, breathe through the prayer line connected to the God of heaven, and do the work of self-salvation. ④ Therefore, even if they say they are cut off from all things in the world, if the cord of prayer is not cut off, they are alive like Daniel who came out of the lions' den. ⑤ The devil desperately tries to break the line of prayer. Let's keep the prayer line, which is the lifeline of the saints, even if we throw away everything from ourselves and the world like Daniel.
Second. Prayer is an encounter and fellowship with God.
① Humans live a lifetime in a series of encounters from birth to death. ② Meeting with parents, meeting with brothers, meeting with teachers, meeting with members of society, meeting with married couples... ③ Life, honor, wealth and glory are built in a good meeting, and death and all misfortune are built in a bad meeting. ④ The best blessed encounter in heaven is an encounter with the holy and exalted God. ⑤ Therefore, the worldly fools, the weak, the incompetent, the despised, and the poor who have nothing in the world put the wise, the strong, and those who have nothing to shame through encounters and fellowship with God. He makes us glorious (1 Corinthians 1:26-31). ⑥ The privilege of meeting with God is the grace given through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. Let's be blessed with prayer without ceasing while giving thanks for the privilege of prayer.
Third. Prayer makes people of God perfect.
① Prayer is conversation with God and personal communication. ② Humans develop and develop their intelligence, personality, and self through dialogue and personal fellowship. ③ Continuous fellowship with God through prayer will put on the attributes of God, the person of God, and the holy image of God. ④ When dealing with and talking to the Holy God, we discover and pull out the deep sins that others did not know about, and we discover and discover valuable strengths. ⑤ Self-reformation to be eternally blessed in the world and heaven is accomplished through prayer.
Fourth. Prayer is a weapon that overcomes the devil.
① In the life of the saints on earth, they must achieve sanctification of their bodies without ceasing, and they must pray without ceasing because they must win the battle without ceasing against the devil. ② When we are tired and exhausted, when we are overwhelmed by anxiety, discouragement, despair, anguish, when resentment, hatred, anger, or when the lust of the flesh is activated, it is all due to the devil. Things go away and the devil flees. ③ Just as Amalek lost when Moses raised his hand, just as Daniel won the spiritual warfare when he prayed for 21 days, let's always win the battle against the devil through ceaseless prayer.
