Psalm 7
1. Prayer for Intercession (1-2)
David's enemies
My Chasers - Enemies are pursuing David to kill him, and they are David's fame
and social status down to the ends of the earth.
One who barks and gnaws at me like a lion - They are cruelly persecuting me like an angry lion.
Among these enemies, David confessed, "I take refuge in You."
It is a clear confession that salvation is in God.
2. Protest against innocence (3-5)
David's Innocence
There is no sin in your hands. - The action is clean.
He did not pay a friendly person with evil. - He did not betray the one who made the covenant.
I didn't take my enemies innocently. - He did not plunder even his enemies without cause.

David would trample my life on the ground and throw my glory into the dust, if I had any of the above sins.

3. A plea for defense (6-9)
O God, stand as my judge. May God be the judge between my sins and me
I pray that you will judge me quickly.
Judge me, O God, by my righteousness and faithfulness.

God saves the righteous with my shield
As a righteous judge, he is angered daily by evil.
