Title: Prayer is the key to success
Prayer is the key to success
Text: Mark 11:24
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”
Graff, the American cheese king, didn't start out with huge fortunes. He was a poor man who sold cheese in wagons. He prayed to God every morning before he went out to sell cheese. Each time, he gained wisdom about [Sales Strategy] and his business prospered. Later, he became the [Cheese King], supplying cheese with numerous trucks. One day, Graphed answered a question about the secret to success:
“When I prayed for wisdom to God, wisdom came and I just put it into practice.”
The early church father Chrysostom spoke of the power of prayer.
"The power of prayer has conquered the powers of fire and silenced the mouths of the lions. Prayer has brought chaos to serenity and has put an end to war. Prayer has cast out demons and broken the chains of death. "Prayer has preserved cities from destruction, has set the sun at rest, and has rectified the direction of lightning. It is the root and source and mother of many blessings."
One day, when the Reformer Martin Luther was asked about his plans for the next day, he said:
“I work from early morning till late at night. In fact, I have so much work to do that I have to spend the first three hours in the morning in prayer.”
Samuel Martin also said this when asked about the secret of great ministry. “Every Friday, you go into the chapel and move from seat to seat, kneeling and praying for those who will be seated.”
“Therefore, keep the word of this covenant, and do it, and all that you do will prosper” (Deuteronomy 29:9).
Deacon Geum Hee Geum, the representative of <Geum Hee Hwang Aesthetic>, grew up in a family of non-believers when she was young. Believing in superstition, the whole family was full of amulets, and I never went to church. However, sometimes my aunt came to my house to play and read the Bible to me, and perhaps because of that, I met Jesus in my dream and received him. Afterwards, Butler Hwang, who was attending a cosmetics research institute at a large company, suddenly decided to quit the company and open an esthetic shop. At the time, 20 years ago, everyone refused because it was a very unfamiliar field, but Deacon Hwang worked with a sense of calling and tried to expand the scope of the gospel through his own business.
“Blessed is he who makes the God of Jacob his help, and whose hope is in the Lord his God” (Psalm 146:5).
The busier you are, the more you pray! What is planned by prayer never fails. Prayer is the key to success.
* Prayer: Lord, our hope and rock! Thank you for allowing us to be overflowing with grace. Help me to live a successful life of being salt and light to my neighbors in the joy of working today. Help me to live a successful life by not resenting or complaining under any circumstances, looking to God who gives victory, and doing my best in the life given to me. We pray in the name of our Savior Jesus. Amen

This is the story of a teacher at Osan School, famous for raising many patriots in Jeongju, North Pyongan Province, during the Japanese colonial period.
In a village in Jeongju, there was a woman who worked hard at her master's house. Every morning he emptied his master's urinal and wiped it clean. Impressed by his unwavering faithfulness, the master decided to study him. The owner even gave him tuition and sent the servant to Soongsil School in Pyongyang to study. And when he graduated from school, he sent him to a vocational school to continue his studies. After graduating from a vocational school, the servant came down to Jeongju, where he worked as a servant, and became a teacher at Osan School. People all praised him for becoming a teacher. He taught students with a spirit of sacrifice. When his students finally graduated, they asked him questions.
"Teacher, what kind of work can we do to be successful in society?"
Then he told the students, "When you go out into society, be a syllabus person."
said. No matter what kind of work you do, when you approach it with a humble attitude, you can live a successful life that is recognized by God and life.
* Meditation: Pray with faith to receive what you ask for.
