Title: Preach the Gospel

1:16 Preach the Gospel
Here, the attitude of the Apostle Paul toward the gospel is evident.
Paul preaches the gospel not only because he is not ashamed of the gospel, but also because
It is also because the gospel is the power of God for salvation to all who believe.
1. The gospel is the best power.
'Ability' can be divided into several categories:
It is the 'power of nature' as a physical force.
As the strength of muscles, it is 'the ability that includes life and will in humans and animals'.
Mental strength refers to 'the power of thought, the power of reason'.
It is 'divine power, or the power of the gospel' as spiritual power.
It is a power that awakens the conscience, revitalizes the soul (cf. Ps. 18:7) and awakens the will.
Paul preached the gospel, which is such an eternal and powerful power.
2. The gospel is the power of God.
'The power of God.' The most fundamental reason why Paul was not ashamed of the gospel
Because that is the power of God.
The gospel is not a product of the wisdom of this world. it is from above,
For the gospel, God prepared thousands of years as a prophet (cf. Romans 1:2),
He sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to make it known to the world.
The power to change a person's soul from sin to righteousness (verse 17) is the power of God.
3. The gospel is the power of salvation.
No one but God can forgive sins (cf. Luke 2:7).
It is the power of great rule over his people that destroys sin.
'Who can bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies' (Romans 8:33).
God struck the mace at the root of evil. Also, the gospel is the power to renew the character of man.
Who can bring the clean out of the unclean? (cf. Job 14:4)
It is impossible with human ability.
But the gospel of Christ saves man from condemnation and from the dominion of sin.
Salvation is not a joint work of man and God. It is only God's grace (cf. Acts 20:24).
4. The gospel is the power that reaches everyone without discrimination.
The word 'Jews and Greeks' in the text means that the gospel is for all humans (cf. Matt. 24:14; 28:19). . The gospel becomes the power of God to save mankind without discrimination based on social class, ethnicity, or race.
That gospel is suitable for everyone. And it is the love and grace of God that is freely given to everyone. Only human beings have to go to the gospel by faith.
This is a condition that leads to salvation.
(conclusion)
We are the power of God. the power of salvation
We must be able to boast of the gospel that reaches out to everyone without discrimination.
Only those who have faith who are not ashamed of the gospel like Paul can truly preach the gospel.
Living a life worthy of the gospel and spreading the gospel to God's grace without discrimination
Let's pass it on to the loved ones around me.
Let us all evangelize and bear the beautiful fruits of evangelism.
