Title: Prepare to Meet Your God
Contents:
Who will we meet?
It is natural for believers to want to meet God. Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea, Anna and Simeon were people who eagerly awaited the kingdom of God.
The one we will meet is God.
Depending on the person you are meeting with, the preparation is different. Some people can go out raw in their slippers, others have more than an hour to prepare and polish.
Who is the God we will meet? The one we will meet is the Creator.
In verse 13 it says: “Behold, he who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, who shows his will to men, who makes the morning dark, and who treads the high places of the earth, his name is the LORD, the God of hosts.”
BUILDING A MOUNTAIN: A representative of the visible.
Creates Wind: Wind means “ruach” in Hebrew, “spirit.” It is the God who created the visible and the invisible, the present world and the spiritual world.
He is the One who reveals his will to men.
God reveals the will of the Creator through all things that He has made. The Word of God is the living voice of God. If you listen to nature, you will hear the voice of God.
He is the God who darkened the morning.
It can be understood as a word that expresses God's creative power and miraculous power.
He is the one who treads on the high places of the earth.
It describes the God who judges even the rulers or rulers of the world.
Why Does God Say He Comes to Meet Us?
He wants you to truly repent and return to God. He came to make you a new person and live a new life.
How should we prepare?
How would you prepare for an important guest? Jesus must be taken home (into my heart).
You must repent of your sins. Both John the Baptist and Jesus proclaimed, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
He tells you to seek God earnestly.
The way to meet God is to find a way to live. Meeting God is a promise to solve problems. Meeting God is a guarantee of heaven.
