Privileges of the Born Again
John 3:1-8
Nicodemus was a Jewish ruler and Pharisee. He confesses that Jesus is from God. But Jesus said that we can see the kingdom of God only if we are born again. When a person is born once, he becomes a member of this world's family. Rebirth is because it is impossible to have life by the methods of the world so far. Life comes only from life and you become a child of God. Even Nicodemus is impossible. We must be born again with the life of Jesus. We are born again when we believe and receive Jesus. You will gain eternal life by being immortal forever. This special grace is given to those who are born again. What are the privileges of the born-again?
1. You will receive eternal life and enter the kingdom of heaven.
They say that unless you are born again, you cannot enter the kingdom of God. This verse says, “If you are born again, you can enter the kingdom of heaven.” What could be more important in life than this? Why do you believe in Jesus? It is through faith that we have eternal life. Those who believe in Jesus Christ have eternal life and will not come into judgment. (John 5:24) Those who believe in and receive Jesus with the center have eternal life and the privilege of entering the kingdom of heaven.
2. You will receive the resurrection of life.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). Jesus emphasized raising him to life (John 6:39, 40). He who eats Jesus' flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and he promised that I will raise him up at the last day (John 6:54). The recorded born-again believers will receive the resurrection of life.
3. Receive answers to prayers.
Prayer is the privilege of a child of God. A child of God is a born-again person. Therefore, God answers the prayers of those who have been born again. The son asks for bread, but because they say it is similar, there is no parent to give him an inedible stone. In John 14:14, Jesus promised that if you ask anything in my name, it will be done. Those who are born again are given the wonderful privilege of receiving answers to their prayers.
4. God leads.
Sometimes there may be hardships, poverty, and suffering for the saints. But ultimately, the living God is sure to lead. No one can take away the eternal life that Jesus gives. (John 10:28-29) Because God who guides us is greater than all things. Therefore, the born-again believers do not need to be afraid (Isaiah 43:1), because God has called them by designation. Water cannot sink. The flame cannot burn. When tribulation strikes, it feels as if everything is over. But He gives a way of escape and makes it bearable (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Therefore, there is the attitude of faith that the regenerated children of God will have. It is an opportunity to experience the hand of God's guidance when unbearable tribulations and sufferings come upon us. ‘Therefore we say with boldness, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid, what can man do to me?’ (Hebrews 13:6)
I hope that you will become a saint who is strong and courageous and wins. Be sure to enjoy the privilege of being born again.
