Today, in this context, we will examine the Antioch Church in the text and make it the property of our Sinchon Church.
① The great wealth of the Antioch church is faith.
The church in Antioch was founded by believers who had fled from the church in Jerusalem. When the church in Jerusalem was reviving for a long time, deacon Stephen was stoned and martyred. Countless believers were imprisoned and killed. Those who escaped the persecution and fled to build the church Even if you are persecuted for believing in Jesus and run away, you are believing in Christ again in the place of refuge.(…) Whatever you say, faith has tremendous power. The history of faith has power. Faith makes us strong. The true wealth of the saints in this age is faith.
②The Antioch church was revived.
Revival is when the number of believers increases. Your finances will also increase. There is more work to be done (…). We must not think of church revival as a human thing. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. They told us to believe in Jesus Christ when we evangelize. He preached to them to repent and to be saved. The evangelism of Antioch Church was to make people confess Jesus as the Christ. Church facilities are also lacking. The finances are not good enough. It is not done with money, but the Holy Spirit works with us in our prayers. All of this must be accomplished through the earnest prayers of the saints. Please believe that our Shinchon Church's property is a prayer to God.
③I heard that Antioch members are Christians.
The church must confess that Jesus is the Christ and claim the confession of faith in the cross and resurrection. You must know that you have a missionary mission that you send me into the world to do the Lord's work. Then the church becomes the church of the Lord. (…) The members of the Antioch church met a shepherd named Barnabas, and their love for the Lord was intense. If you open your mouth, it is Jesus. Their hearts were filled with Jesus. Although they were often criticized and persecuted, they were despised, but when they met a church member in Antioch, they were loved so much that they said, “There is an angelic member,” and “There are Christians.” As Christians, we must have a bright ethical life. You must be a good citizen in your country. At home, love builds good family relationships. We need to reconcile families and make society healthy. Christians should be used for good purposes whenever possible.
When a Shinchon church member passes by and hears such a voice as “There is a Shinchon church member going over there” or “There is an angelic Shinchon church member going”, God revives and blesses our church. The more difficult times, the stronger the faith. The more difficult the faith, the more progressive life is. The true wealth of the church is revival. We must pray for the fire of revival to be kindled and the fire of the Holy Spirit to come on. If we do our best to help others, our Sinchon Church will become the real property of this land.
