Title: Prosperity in Israel 24 .hwp
1. Prosperity of Israel
No one wants to get stuck and struggle in everything they do.
Everyone wants his work to prosper, which is the same with the wicked.
it is a wish The text refers to the prosperity of Israel,
It gives hope, courage and comfort to life.
One). The Lord Himself Leads - Israel's prosperity lies in God Himself leading.
2.) The Lord strengthens us - He strengthens the saints today as well.
3.) Blessing with grace - Because the Lord has given us grace, let us not be arrogant in everything
I will learn to be grateful and do my best to humble myself and serve.
2. Human Folly
God's rule is absolute. (Psalm 99:1) The LORD reigns, and the nations shall tremble; the LORD sits among the cherubim, and the earth shall be shaken. No one can change God's plan.
Nevertheless, we can see the folly of man challenging God's sovereignty.
1) The foolishness of Balak and Balaam - Balak tried to overcome the Israelites by cursing them, even though he knew that they were the chosen people led by the Lord. Opposition to God's Supported People
It is an act against God. Balaam is also a fallen prophet who, despite God's disapproval, was deceived by material things and went to Balak to curse Israel.
2) Evil actions against God will never succeed.
Balak's plans were thwarted when the Lord opened his eyes.
Even Satan's plans to destroy God's people go beyond what God has allowed.
can't
3) Consequences of those who oppose God
It brought material loss and frustration to Ballak.
It caused Balaam to feel guilty and the wrath of God.
(Rev 2:14) But I have a few things against you, that you keep the teaching of Balaam there.
Here are some: Balaam taught Balak to lay a snare before Israel, to sacrifice to idols.
made them eat and commit fornication.
Balaam did not curse Israel, so he did not receive anything from Balak.
Because they tried to curse Israel, they did not receive God's reward.
The Israel they were trying to curse is a nation blessed by God, and the Messiah will come from there
It was a country that would rule over the nations that appeared.
No man can curse a man whom God blesses.
